I've been on and off this site for 10+ years. Hope it rebounds.

So.... this past weekend, I made a quick trip to my beloved Black's Beach. My first time there in over 2 years. It was sad! There was a huge amount of erosion of the fluffy sand of the beach. The high tide waterline came up nearly to the cliff edge. There was only a handful of people around. It was so sad to see.

So, is this shift of the beach composition how it always is in the colder months? Has this erosion been in place for a while? Is this how it now is, and is going to be?

And does this mean the end of one of my all time favorite places to see and be seen?

Anybody have any insight?
