Elk, I will honestly say I am not 100% decided either way, we know that there is an ongoing environmental change, but the same scientists that are now promoting the heating up were promoting the cooling down not that long ago. We have plenty of evidence to support that there have been several mini-ice ages throughout history as well as some scientists who have stated and shown evidence that man's "warming effect" has prevented what should have been a naturally occurring new ice age.

It also doesn't gain much credibility when the people most supporting these ideas are riding around in jets and limos living in non energy conscious 21,000 foot mansions and getting people to buy "carbon credits" to offset their footprints.

There is no controversy or lack of acceptance among the scientific community. This is purely a religious and political controversy. The statistics are overwhelming.
