:D

He told Harry Reid to go fuck himself and announced he would no longer meet with Obama for his input on House matters, the House will go back to formal House procedures in which the President is excluded. Boehner explained he would no longer allow Obama's non productive interference and attempts to spread division and hate, then lie to the media about their discussions.

RIGHT ON BOEHNER!!! About time he grew some balls and the Republicans in office start doing what they were elected to do. Glad to see he's going start fighting fire with fire, this should be good.

Of course, you don't realize that we are headed for a repeat of the do-nothing 112th Congress if Boehner refuses to negociate with the President. How would you feel if the President stated that he would catagorically veto any GOP sponsered bill?

Why would Boehner have to negotiate with the President? Congress writes Laws, not the President, he need to keep his hate based input out of it. Hell, the Democrats had the House, the Senate and the White House for the first two years and the only thing they did was hand out 800 billion to donors. 100% of the Democrats voted down Obama's proposed budget, not one of the Democrats voted for it. They basically told Obama to stay out of their business which Boehner has promised to do.

Ah,poor justme with diarhea of the mouth again. Do you really have such little comprehension of how government works?

The President is the symbolic and de facto leader of the United States of America. Traditionally, the President has advised Congress of his vision for the country for the next four years. Congress can take his ideas and use them as the basis for any laws that they pass or they can set their own agaenda. Throughout history the President has advised Congress of his wishes for the country.

President Obama has taken an aggresive role in dealing with Congress because of the do-nothing Congress that has been in power. Take a look at the number of bills in the past several Congresses. In 2011, after Republicans took control of the U.S. House, Congress passed just 90 bills into law. The difference between 1995 and now is that Republicans rebounded in the second year of the 104th Congress in 1996, churning out 245 laws with a Democratic president, including a tax cut package, a minimum wage increase, an overhaul of the nation's welfare system, and requiring law enforcement to disclose where sex offenders live. When Democrats controlled both chambers during the 111th Congress, 258 laws were enacted in 2010 and 125 in 2009, including President Obama's health care law.

Exactly, that's what I said. Boehner has made it clear the House will be setting "their own" agenda. Obama can continue to advise the Country of his "wishes".

In my opinion this is what is exactly wrong with our country.

We are 16 trillion in debt, and whats the answer? One menber telling another to go "fuck himself" and thats something to be proud of and have bragging rights to?

It took both parties, the house, the senate, the white house to get us here, 30 years at least. When was the last year our country was in the black 1968 or so? This debt is hanging over us and all we can hope for in the coming months is more of the same? Boy thats gonna fix the problem. How positive.
I was watching a show the other morn, a member of congress was talking. When was asked his thoughts of this last vote his reply. "well they won this hand, but the game isn't over, wait until March, game on". WTF!! This isn't a game of liers poker, winners and losers, winner take all. This is our country, not a game their playing with. Or in their minds is it, is it all just a power play of chess and we are pawns to be used and thrown away to fit their power moves?
This isn't govt, this is a train wreck!!

Just, the goal of the Democrats/Libs has been to break the country, so, as Obama put it, it could be remade as it should have been to start with. The New Deal was the clear start of the downfall of this country, and the Democrats have done all they can do destroy it since. You can blame the Republicans, but, at least we had a Budget when they were in control, the Destructocrats won't pass one and don't believe they even need one - and nothing they've done has cut spending or even remotely gained enough to pay just the interest on the national debt... It's a Win/Win for democrats.

I just hope Boehner keeps his promise to support Bills he was elected to support and not given in and help Obama destroy the Country.

Next time Obama brings up elections have consequences Republicans should remind him (and the media) that they certianly do and that every Republican member of congress were put into office by people who want the Country to go in a different direction than Obama wants to take us. It's time Republicans start working for the people that elected them, I hope that's the message Boehner was sending when he told Reid to go fuck himself.
