UNITED NATIONS (AP) — The U.N. General Assembly has unanimously approved a resolution calling for a global ban on female circumcision, a centuries-old practice stemming from the belief that circumcising girls controls women's sexuality and enhances fertility. The U.N. said in 2010 that about 70 million girls and women had undergone the procedure. The World Health Organization said about 6,000 girls were circumcised every day.Holley cow, Obama should be all over this one, remember his statement last month "a woman's body is her own property, and is therefore, rightfully subject to her exclusive control". Rice voted against Obama and went with the rest of the UN to deny all those women that right to decide. So will Obama fire Rice or will the media and Obama ignore it?
