Our current politicians don’t receive any benefit from engaging with long-term issues, it’s all about the next election cycle and immediate satisfaction for the voters. Therefore our future is screwed and so are our childrens'. Obama is the icon for those screwing us for their self serving needs. You missed the true cause of why we're screwed - the people have lost concern for being responsible.
