You would think after all these years that something like this wouldn't be possible but here it is, right before Christmas. A poor black man being exploitated by a white cop and a white women for their "feel good" moment as if he was some kind of animal. They get their moments of fame for $75.00 then leave him to freeze on the streets, now his life is danger as a result of their actions. The legal system should step up and make this right for this homeless Vet, they treated him like an animal begging for hand outs, he didn't ask for those boots, they used him for their feel good photo op and now they need to pay.

For once I agree with you Freedman, that man was exploited. It's very apparent it was a staged photo op, the tourist "Jennifer Foster"who just "happens" to stumble upon the Officer's kind act and takes the photo, just "happens" to be the media coordinator and communications director for a Sheriff's Office. She was seen having lunch with the Officer earlier that day.

Now about the shoeless man. Yes he was exploited but Jeffrey Hillman is drawing full social assistance including an apartment, he spends his days pretending to be a homeless bum that can't even afford shoes, often collecting several hundred dollars a day in handouts. So it turns out everyone is exploiting everyone in this case. It's New York what do you expect?
