Israel was attacking Europeans instead of Palestinians? Why does the life of a Palestinian have so little value compared to the rest of the world? Why all the silence from everyone except Muslim Countries?

I see both sides at fault but it's like a grown man beating up a 5 year old child for stepping on his toe. The conflict isn't fair, the Palestinians are defending themselves with pistols against tanks, time for Israel to back off and give peace a chance. Once israel backs off Palestinians need to refrain from sending rockets over the border unless provoked. It's that simple.

It's a relatively few Palestinians shooting rockets but they are i8mbedded and have the sympathies of a larger dense population that is suffering from a rigid embargo. Vendetta is always a bad scenario. Always escalating. Always breeding hatred on both sides. Peace is very difficult. Israelis intentionally move within attack distance in order to stake their claim on the lands.

Instead of spending money on weapons and Armies Israel should use that money (billions) to help the Palestinians dig out of poverty. If they did that there would be no need for fighting, it's that simple.

For now everyone just needs to back off starting with the big guy, Israel. Then Is Israel needs to annouce to the World their plans to bring Palestinians out of poverty by shifting funds from the military to the aid process. If the Palestinians don't accept the aid, then it's their fault but at least Israel needs to try.

You do understand that Gaza is a huge, densely populated urban prison with dreadful conditions and no hope of improvement. They do not control their borders or airspace. They can engage in no commerce. They can get no goods, food, or services in or out. The people are totally dependent on their only hope of survival, Hamas, their generosity, and their black market. Anarchy rules where Hamas does not.

You do knbow that Israel ignores the West Bank Palestinian cooperation and offers no real hope of seeing the two state solution while colonizing the lands that are supposed to be occupied by Palestinians.

It's hard to see how either side can trust each other, let alone live together with so much abuse of trust, hatred, and hopelessness.

Under such circumstances it is usually the powerful party who is intentionally doing the most wrong.

Don't fall for the Republican talking points concering Gaza. The Palestinians are not helpless idiots, they're a very industrialist people and Gaza would be thriving if they could help establishing themselves and if the blockaides were removed. While Hamas helps them more than any other group or Country, Hamas also brings some of the problems on them by fighting with the Israelis.
