^^^^^And there we have the wasted legal mind of johnforbes on display.
Firstly, dimwit, you don't discuss legal matters using silly partisan propaganda jargon such as "lawfare" and expect to be taken seriously.
But if you are going to talk like a child, then you should apply the term where it actually applies, which is in the Trump camp where they are fighting a legal war against Trump being held responsible for his crimes, not because he is innocent, but because he is guilty of the crimes he's charged with. They do this not by demonstrating that Trump didn't commit those crimes, but rather by a policy of frivolous delays and phony motions filed to try to run out the clock on the ability to hold Trump liable for those crimes. They do this by delaying in order to give Trump time to get re-elected President so that he can no longer be prosecuted for the crimes that johnforbes knows Trump committed. It's a legal war of attrition.
What should be noticed is that not once has johnforbes even bothered to assert that Trump is not guilty of the crimes he's charged with. This is because johnforbes knows perfectly well that Trump is guilty of every crime charged. He experienced for himself Trump committing those crimes in real time while consuming the news of the day. But all johnforbes ever does is try to explain why Trump shouldn't be put on trial for those crimes johnforbes witnessed, using pathetic arguments like "No Republican should ever be charged with a crime in New York because it is run by Democrats." johnforbes quite literally believes that Republicans should not be subject to the law in New York. He has said this several times concerning Trump due to his party affiliation. He is saying it once again with this thread. "Trump should be above the law because it seems odd to me that he should be charged for multiple crimes on a single day instead of on four different days." (As if that makes any difference whatsoever in Trump's guilt or innocence.)
johnforbes' defense of Trump has never been to assert that Trump didn't commit the crimes he is charged with; only that things are "odd" because it "seems odd" to johnforbes. (Well why didn't you say so, johnny? Let's all defer to johnforbes' feelings. Let's immediately stop all the trials because they "seem odd" to a 4th rate partisan legal mind which is unable to produce any other justification for his partisan views.) No other argument or point of discussion has been made by the board's partisan tool. johnforbes is incapable of mounting a discussion about anything beyond expressing his personal feelings absent of all facts in a given matter. As I have told him many times, this country does not run on his 'feelings'. Nobody cares what he (or anyone else) FEELS about it. They care whether or not there is a case to be made. And in every case filed, a Grand Jury found there was reason to believe that crimes had been committed and that Trump is the one who likely committed them.
Why johnforbes holds the U.S. legal system in such contempt is a mystery, given that he claims to be an officer of the court of that legal system. (But I guess we shouldn't be surprised to learn that johnforbes holds himself in contempt. I hold the partisan weasel in contempt too. Don't we all?)
