Political discussions about everything

According to keen intellect Karine, mentioning the wide open southern border makes it insecure by spreading misinformation.

Now, for all those without Karine's lofty cerebral capability, one might query:

Isn't it the fact that the border is not secure what renders it not secure?

Thoughts?

Like johnforbes, we're all waiting with bated breath to see the House Republicans' plan for reforming immigration policies and mitigate the border problem.

But as they haven't put forward any plan in the past twenty years when they were in power, it is likely they will continue to offer nothing at all to solve the problem. Nothing--it's what Republicans do. They just like to bitch about problems and then blame others for their failures.

To the point, we see that the Republican Party is made up of so many revolting people that not even the Republicans themselves can find a single one that they would want to lead them in the House. That's understandable, given the choices, but it is also indicative of just what they will do when facing any serious real problem like immigration--which is, again, nothing.

Thanks for bringing up this issue of Republican dereliction of duty, johnny. It's always refreshing when you bring up such criticisms concerning your party of choice.

If you are waiting on RINO McCarthy's plan to secure the southern border, you may want to purchase a paperback novel to read.

McCarthy -- and pal Frank Luntz -- probably have zero desire to secure America's border, but a strong desire to spend another 111 billion to secure Ukraine's border.

Either way, the 18 Senate RINOs and the open border Dems in the Senate won't permit the southern border to be secured.

5 million new illegal aliens crossed in the past 2 years.

Let's pretend all that is true, johnny.

Then why do you keep blaming the border problem on Democrats when you just admitted that Republicans haven't and won't even try to do anything about it when they had or now have the power to do so.

That means you should also blame Republicans as much as you blame Democrats. But for some reason you never do. It's like you're nothing more than a hypocritical partisan hack or something because you just admitted that you actually know better.

Any country is just a piece of dirt without a defined border, a unique culture, and a body of law.

The border under Trump was at least being attempted to be secured.

Did Bush Sr or Jr, in their many federal roles, do anything serious to secure the border? No, and they should have.

Chamber of Commerce type Repubs wanted cheap labor, but failed to see that all taxpayers pay for public schools and jails and such which illegal aliens and their many kids impose great burdens on.

Dem hypocrisy was even greater, involving the race card for anybody who wanted the obvious -- a legal, rational immigration system.

There is bipartisan blame, but Democrats WANTED the 5 million new illegal aliens entering in the past 2 years.
