Political discussions about everything

"Former President Trump called for the termination of the Constitution’s rules regarding elections to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election following the release of more detailed information about Twitter’s role in suppressing a story about Hunter Biden.
“A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution,” Trump said in a Truth Social post."-The Hill

Yes, Trump actually said it in so many words, that he supports "the termination of all [election] rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution," if he doesn't like them. He said this without any evidence to support his assertion that any massive election fraud even took place.

And he said this while running to be the chief executive (under oath, remember) in charge of defending the Constitution.

I have been waiting for johnforbes to start a thread about this treasonous statement, but then I remembered that his handlers don't bother to tell him of the dangerous things Trump says and does. johnny never seems to be aware of any of them.

Just thought johnforbes would really want to know about this serious disqualifying problem with his candidate of choice.

Of course, Musk provided the evidence of an enormous attempt to interfere with the 2020 election via censorship by Twitter.

This censorship was mirrored by Facebook, YouTube, Insta, etc.

Trump was referring to a provision, but of course nothing of the sort will transpire.

But not since leftist Kevin Costner pretended to be a cowboy has anybody been so far in over their head as Clowntroller attempting to wax profound on matters constitutional.

"Trump was referring to a provision, but of course nothing of the sort will transpire."-johnforbes

Predictably, you're missing the point, as always.

First of all, you have no idea whether it would "transpire" or not. Dictators take over by brute force all the time. And it CAN happen here, as the conviction of the Oath Keepers for seditious conspiracy shows even the dimwitted as yourself.

For some reason you think the U.S. is immune to such uprisings, despite reality having rubbed your nose in the truth on Jan. 6th.

But worse, Trump's statement demonstrates that he is not even inclined to uphold his oath taken at inauguration which says he swears to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. This means he is not allowed to ignore or "terminate" any part of it. He must administer and enforce it as is.

He has told you upfront that he does not value or respect his oath of office, but you will vote for him again anyway, which makes you complicit in his treason.

The biggest joke on Trump is that by insisting that he was re-elected in 2020, Trump is disqualifying himself from ever running again since no one may run for President after being elected twice. Trump says he was elected twice already and the Constitution doesn't say that you must have SERVED a second term to be disqualified; only that you must be ELECTED to a second term. So his running again further displays his contempt for the Constitution and his intent to neither follow nor enforce it.

Some day johnforbes will realize that contempt for the law is a dangerous (and real) thing. But since johnny stands in contempt of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court (where he himself is an officer of the court, no less) it is no wonder he has so much sympathy for another who has contempt for the law.

"Republicans: the party of law and order!".......yeah, right...
