Political discussions about everything

It's time to check in on RealTool's wacky partisan prognostications again.

On April 17th RealTool told us all--AGAIN-- that it wasn't too late to buy gold. To make a point, I immediately sold one ounce of gold purely on RealTool's "buy" recommendation.

On April 18th, gold was selling for $1962 per ounce. Today it sells for $1697 per ounce. That's a loss of 13.5% in three months.
On April 18th, the Dow was at 34,411. Today it is at 31,874-- a loss of 7.3% in three months.
On April 18th, the NASDAQ was at 13,332. Today it is at 11,897-- a loss of 10.7% in three months.

Unsurprisingly, RealTool has once again shown himself to be the perfect negative indicator for all things financial. And once again he took it in the shorts for listening to his advisers at Partisan Hate Retirement Systems.

But thanks for the $266 I saved going against your recommendation, Tool. I bought a couple of really nice dinners out with it.

Sorry for your destitute retirement.
(And be grateful that I didn't compare your August 2020 recommendation to buy gold at $2060. That would REALLY make you look pathetic.)

Clown seems a tad surly of late, perhaps because the Obergefell case should simply have been left up to the states to determine their stances on homo matrimony.

johnforbes seems a tad more moronic of late, perhaps because he took RealTool's advice and bought another 100 ounce bar of gold in April.

Then he went down to his local drag club to discuss Obergefell with his fellow performers who were in need of legal advice from an incompetent lawyer who has somehow managed to escape being disbarred.

Re Obergefell, Clowntoker's login for other sites is Obese_Gay_Fella (i.e., Obergefell).

Yup, johnforbes bought another bar of gold on RealTool's recommendation.

His embarrassed attempt at another stupid diversion is his tell.

I did not buy a bar of gold, but Clowntroller stopped by a bar on his way home and made his way to the bottom of a bottle of Jack Daniels.

"I did not buy a bar of gold,..."-johnfoibles

So you finally got disbarred, eh?

It's about time.

To be sure, it is a rare person with Irish genes who can pass a bar.

Either pass a bar exam, or simply pass by a bar without drinking all the whiskey therein.

Speaking of bars, I have jotted down my first poem of the day:

"Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,

But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.

Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;

For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crost the bar."
