VOTING IN REPUBLICAN LAND

We all heard about Trump voting in Florida when he lived in New York.

Now it's Mark Meadows

"As we all know, anyone remotely connected to Donald J. Trump and the MAGA wing of the Republican Party [e.g. johnforbes] makes a big show of being ultra- vigilant about so-called “election integrity.”

But like a hellfire preacher with a taste for carnal sin, former congressman and Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows has been notoriously sloppy in his own compliance with voting laws. Last month news broke that he was registered to vote in North Carolina at a trailer home where he didn’t live and had in fact never been seen. (His wife had apparently spent a night or two there, but hardly enough for it to constitute a residence.) The Meadows couple listed that address after selling the home they owned in North Carolina and moving to a condo in Virginia to accommodate Mark’s new gig at the White House. The revelation led to a still-ongoing investigation by the North Carolina attorney general Josh Stein, a Democrat, for possible voter-fraud violations."

"But then it came out that Meadows actually voted in 2021 in Virginia, [johnforbes probably even delivered his ballot to the drop box for him since Meadows was allegedly in a North Carolina trailer at the time] while being registered in that state and in North Carolina. So election officials in Macon County, North Carolina, have now removed him from the rolls. This is a standard action taken when election officials discover someone has moved and registered elsewhere. But it’s another data point for the investigation of voter fraud."

Yes, some people forge signatures on two ballots when they noticed their husband didn't sign his before they left the house. (Of course, Trump supporters simply ASSUME that the woman voted Democrat. The husband probably voted Republican. They have no evidence one way or the other.) Republicans don't have to forge signatures. They just register in multiple states and vote multiple times because they can afford to.

Will johnforbes ever be vigilant and get equally pissed off at Republican vote fraud? Of course he won't.

And this thread will prove it.

If any vote cast by anybody was improper, I would oppose that.

But Clown made no mention of the video showing dropbox activity

I DID mention the drop box video, you lying sack of shit.

Once again I prove johnforbes is a dishonest partisan scumbag.

I know, it happens so often that he doesn't even notice it any m ore.

But what I did notice was that you still haven't started a thread about Republican vote fraud, which is frequently documented (as in the Meadows case. Still no thread from you about that documented Republican fraud.

Meanwhile, if the video was taken in a state where dropping family member ballots in a drop box is legal, then we can only guess that she may have signed her own ballot in the car and perhaps that of her husband. She should have taken it home to have him do it, but this sort of thing doesn't compare with willful, premeditated, documented fraud perpetrated by Republicans like Trump and Meadows. For all johnforbes knows, she votes Republican. He hasn't documented anything but his own suspicions.

What was angry about that post, dummy?

I simply called a spade a spade. (Who took one to your ugly mug, by the way?)

But I did notice that you still haven't started a thread about Republican vote fraud, which is frequently documented (as in the Meadows case. )

Still no thread from you about that documented Republican fraud, which can only mean you have no problem with Republican fraud. Thus, johnny's desperate diversions from the ugly truth.

No, you're not even a higher life form.

You have all the critical thinking ability of an amoeba.

You still haven't started a thread about Republican vote fraud, which is frequently documented (as in the Meadows case. )

Alas, time does not permit Mr Forbes to start a thread on every topic which might merit one.

Mr Forbes is busy moving into a cardboard box down by the river so he can contemplate his stock market loss today.

According to Republican tortured logic.....apparently the Democrats rigged the election for Trump to lose the election by some 7 million votes and they forgot to rig the election for Republicans to win the congress.

Elkin, be fair to Democrats.

They can't rig each and every vote because some vote-counters are honest and because not every area has voting machines.

But be fair to Democrats -- they do try.

So conservatives go out and....

Gerrymander districts
Selectively close polling locations in democrat leaning districts
Purge voter rolls
Enact voter ID laws
Prevent mail-in ballots
Shorten polling hours in democrat leaning districts
Weaken voting rights legislation

...but, when they lose they will complain and make nonsensical claims that the system is rigged against them.

As the NY Times revealed in the summer of 2020, mail ballots are a recipe for fraud.

Follow the leftist journalism of the Times and learn.

So johnforbes still wants to disenfranchise the ill, homebound, handicapped, and absent voters who are away on business on election day since they could not vote without mail in ballots.

No one is surprised at such an attitude from a Trump supporter?

Not at all.

There are valid reasons, of course, but those should be verified and verifiable.

Sending out zillions of blank ballots, and having them filled out by some gal in a car as on the video, is wrong.

So it is your belief that mail in ballots are just fine if they are properly verified.

Thanks for the admission, johnny.

Just read what I wrote.

If a person is disabled, or has some other valid reason not to be able to show up at a voting center and vote in person, and requests a mail ballot, then that ought to be fine if signature/address/etc verification is done.

Again, to restate the obvious, one vote for one valid voter.

No cheating, whether done by any person in any party.

Honest, secure elections would have helped senile Joe have credibility, but alas that did not happen with the 2020 mess, and every passing day brings yet more evidence of shoddy practices (e.g., the video rather alarmingly showing fraud in Detroit).

If a person requests a mail ballot, then that person should be verified as a valid voter, and at that point he/she could be sent a mail ballot and all should be well.

Sending out blank ballots in bulk, and then having drop boxes and "harvesters" to empty them and bring them in means there is no chain of custody and the NY Times pointed out that that is a recipe for fraud in articles done in the summer of 2020.

In Alaska, there is no signature guarantee (other than some friend you have or make up) for the validity of signatures from distant towns, so the Alaska voting system would not be very credible regardless of what party prevailed.

I see this as a nonpartisan issue where both sides should want fair voting.
