Am I the only one that thinks this way? To me, making us pay twice, or for those that can only afford one or the other and having to choose, just shows greed on the part of VW management. I know there is another "voyeur type" site out there that combines the vids with the pics for one very reasonable price.

Shadowman, I heartily disagree. Biscuit and I are members of both and find Redclouds infinitly better on all
ends than Homeclips. Homeclips gets a maximum of five contri's a day, some are male, and the comments are
positively terrible. We cannot imagine why anyone would want to send a vid clip to homeclips and let the
masses talk about you.

I think deprecating Homeclips and adding a video submission section to RC makes sense. I think having one site that does it all is appealing even if it means a nominal increase in monthly fees.

Ahem! Because we only post high-quality videos and get overwhelmingly positive comments! We've been trying for years to encourage others to do the same, so what else could we do try to keep the quality up? I wouldn't be opposed to combining them, actually. It might encourage more RCers to try making videos.

But I'm no longer very confident that these sites are going to survive at all after what I've seen go down today.

Love the idea of combining RC. and HC. Also instead of letting the "themed contests " run on for however long admin wants. Set a designated time for each. Also how about awarding membership perks for contributors. Lets face it the last cpl months the postings have dwindled. And no more hawking other sites to make up for lack of contris. At a million + members, surely there are a few incentives VW could offer.
