"I can't afford to put gas in my JEEP.."-sillydummy

Since gas in my area is exactly the same price now as it was when Biden was sworn in, this means sillydummy is saying he could never afford to drive a motor vehicle, even when Trump was President. Granted, silly's Social Security benefit wasn't designed to help the destitute put fuel in cars, but I hope sillydummy has someone to drive him down to the socialist VA hospital to get his COVID shots. (Thankfully available because of Biden's distribution plan since Trump had no plan whatsoever to get silly vaccinated.)

And yes, you will likely need a fourth shot. You aren't crowing about Trump's 'miraculous' vaccine development push now, are you, silly. It's hilarious to see you here actually criticizing it. Maybe you think Trump rushed development too much to come up with an efficacious vaccine, eh, so you are now mad at Trump's failure because you might need a fourth shot? Biden had nothing to do with that. And johnforbes has even started a thread criticizing Trump's vaccine development failure by insisting the vaccines he rushed through are only 20-54 percent effective.

The sad fact is, it is johnforbes (like Trump) who was simply wrong when he ignorantly pronounced that COVID19 would someday simply "disappear." If johnforbes could be bothered to follow the science he would understand that COVID, like the flu and the common cold, may be here to stay.

Mr. Forbes has insisted nothing on the topic of efficacy because, for all his many virtues, he is not a doctor.

What Mr. Forbes did do was cite a study, using veteran data, which showed decent efficacy for Moderna, less for Pfizer's covid shot, and little for J&J's.

As is always the case for the reliable Mr. Forbes, his posting was based on a strong foundation of pure fact.

You mean like the recent study of vet records which provided new insight into just how much this protection diminishes.

The one published recently in the journal Science where the study collected data of 780,225 veterans from the Veterans Health Administration between Feb. 1 and Oct. 1.

The one where researchers found each of the vaccines initially offered high levels of protection against infection. In March, Moderna’s protection measured at 89%, Pfizers registered at 87% and J&J came in at 86%.

But six months later, Moderna’s jab had dropped to just 58% effective, Pfizer was 45% and J&J fell to a mere 13%.

Did Clown mean something like that study, which was widely publicized, didn't exist?
