In addition to explaing the egregious errors in Clownslacker's thinking, this fine forum sometimes tackles more daunting tasks.
This morning, let's summarize the universe.
Matter and energy constantly pop up and end. If we move from empty space to the edge of a black hole (event horizon), anything which falls into a black hole disappears forever.
But black holes radiate away some energy and "evaporate" as Hawking found.
In 500 trillion years (put this on your calendar!), the universe will be swallowed up by black holes, and then they will radiate away their mass leaving nothing but a few photons.
Where we are now, about 14 billion years since the universe began, is a pretty good spot despite Biden being brain-dead.
