Hunter Biden introduced his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, to a top executive at a Ukrainian energy firm less than a year before the elder Biden pressured government officials in Ukraine into firing a prosecutor who was investigating the company, according to emails obtained by The Post.

The never-before-revealed meeting is mentioned in a message of appreciation that Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to the board of Burisma, allegedly sent Hunter Biden on April 17, 2015, about a year after Hunter joined the Burisma board at a reported salary of up to $50,000 a month.

“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure,” the email reads.

An earlier email from May 2014 also shows Pozharskyi, reportedly Burisma’s No. 3 exec, asking Hunter for “advice on how you could use your influence” on the company’s behalf.

The blockbuster correspondence — which flies in the face of Joe Biden’s claim that he’s “never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings” — is contained in a massive trove of data recovered from a laptop computer.

Supposedly, the hard drive was given to the FBI last December, and apparently nobody either looked at it or cared about it because Biden is a Democrat and Dems are above the law.

It has photos showing him with a crack pipe, and that seems germane because it goes to the question of why an addict wold be paid 83,000 dollars per month, and the answer is crystal clear from the email -- because his father was an important official.

It is difficult to sort out what really happened, but Hunter arranged a 1 million retainer, and was trying to arrange millions more from China outfits for introductions to power players in D.C.

There are also suggestions that Hunter gave half to the family and "his guy" or sometimes called "the big guy."

But that department is not a monolith.

Career bureaucrats like Strzok and Page and McCabe and Ohr set out to stop Trump from being elected and, failing that, from governing.

They used a fake dossier to lie to the FISA court, wiretap Trump, and also to start the two years of the fake Mueller probe.

It will be very interesting to learn what they did when presented with that hard drive -- investigate it, or hide it to help Biden.

With an election approaching, one would think it would have interested people whether Biden had been using his VP gig to get money via Hunter.

Democrats don't care, of course, but hopefully somebody in "investigation" or "justice" would?

It is a combination of things.

In any federal bureaucracy, you have a layer of clerks who couldn't care less about politics and are just collecting a salary.

Then you have folks doing jobs, and they soldier on despite extrinsic events.

Then you have upper level bureaucrats who tend to lean Left.

Then you have the political appointees of every president.

But it is is puzzling that Hunter's laptop (and they do have it, not some fake) was in custody since Dec 2019 and apparently kept quiet, which could only help Joe's campaign.
