Talk about yer "Shocking New Numbers" coming from the federal government, the national debt when Obama left office was roughly $20 Trillion.

Now, after less than four years of Trump, the national debt is roughly 26.8 Trillion.

Notice that jonforbes is suddenly silent about incompetent Presidents who spend like a fleet of drunken sailors.

Notice that almost no Republicans give a rat's ass about massive spending any longer, not even the Tea Party group. You don't hear a peep out of them. (Partisan hypocrites all.)

johnforbes will continue to search for ways to misuse statistics to give a misleading impression of the danger of COVID rather than face having to judge Trump by the same metric he judges Democrats by.

Not at all.

Obama doubled the debt, and racked up more than all prior presidents combined.

Is it good that Trump has added?

Nope, but then the covid lockdowns were very expensive, with already 2.5 trillion spent on stimulus.

If Ferguson's initial estimate of 2.2 million Americans dead had been accurate, the lockdowns mighta made sense.

Instead, we have 9,200 covid-only deaths, so the lockdowns now look rather dumb.

Was it good that Obama added? Nope. (There, I fully addressed the seriousness of Obama's spending. There's nothing more to discuss about it, right? But johnforbes criticized it constantly.)

Dimwit, Obama spent to stop a depression from taking hold, and he succeeded. All Presidents face problems they must address.

You stated 20 or 30 times that Obama's spending was a disqualifying problem bad enough to vote him out of office.

Not once have you posted that Trump's spending is a disqualifying issue. You simply shrug it off with a "Nope." That's because you are nothing more than a partisan hypocrite.

"If Ferguson's initial estimate of 2.2 million Americans dead had been accurate, the lockdowns mighta made sense."-johnflubs

So you're saying Trump wasted those trillions of dollars he has spent fighting an inconsequential COVID outbreak? Unbeblievable.

johnforbes dismisses the seriousness of COVID with his misleading number of "covid-only" deaths. All he needs to do is look at the excess mortality data from the CDC. It shows how serious this pandemic has been in the U.S..

https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covi ... deaths.htm

Look about half way down the page to the chart titled "Weekly number of deaths (from all causes)" and look at the right side of the chart which represents deaths in the U.S. since April to see how many COVID has ACTUALLY killed. (For the dimwitted Trump-supporter, they are all the deaths above the orange line.)

No, Trump was greeted by Fauci and Birx who told him of Ferguson's estimate of 2.2 million US deaths if he didn't agree to the 2 week lockdown they asked for.

So, within that time, the curve started to flatten, and hospitals were never overwhelmed, and then power-drunk Democrat governors and mayors liked the lockdowns and half a year later we still have them.

As to debt, I have none myself and have always been a zero debt person.

Like people, nations would be far stronger with zero debt, and I've long wanted a balanced budget amendment.

See? After 30 posts about Obama's spending like a fleet of drunken sailors when he was stopping a global depression, johnforbes has nothing to say about Trump's spending far more than Obama ever did in less than four years, all johnforbes has to say is----NOTHING about Trump's spending. But he's STILL criticizing Obama's spending.

But suddenly johnforbes doesn't care about Presidents running up the debt. If he did, he would have posted at least 15 posts criticizing Trump's record-breaking spending by now.

But johnny is a partisan hypocrite, so we will never see a single critical post about Trump, no matter what crimes he commits.
By Clownkicker

Yes, johnny, in that post you made my point for me; that you criticized Obama many times for his spending but have yet to criticize Trump even once for his spending which is much worse than Obama's.

You pretend to have a principled stance, but only criticize those who violate your stance when you can do so in a partisan way. That's what makes you an unabashed partisan hypocrite.

And you don't even realize that you embarrassed yourself....AGAIN.

That's how dimwitted you are.

What I posted -- which referenced Clown's faux concern -- was the following, which was a masterpiece of lucidity:

^^^^^AGAIN, not one critical word for Trump's massive spending that johnny supposedly found so egregious with Obama that he posted negative comments about it dozens of times, pretending it was enough reason to disqualify Obama from being President. But with Trump he doesn't have a critical thing to say.

johnforbes once again makes my point for me by demonstrating his partisan hypocrisy

How many different ways are there to say that I'd prefer America have, like me, zero debt?

But I live in the real world -- not the world of Marxist delusion where Clown resides.
By Clownkicker
#127575
How many different ways are there for johnforbes to avoid admitting he has failed to criticize Trump's mindboggling spending the way he criticized Obama for spending less than Trump is spending? But he lives in the real world -- where partisan assholes only criticize their political opponents for doing the same things their own party candidates are doing.

johnforbes has yet to say one critical thing about Trump, despite the fact that he has surpassed Obama in spending over a 3 1/2 year period, dividing the country, and committing violations of campaign law within his administration.

This proves johnforbes is not just a partisan hypocrite, but is also just a big pussy without any integrity.

Clown's concern is genuine -- genuinely fake.

Let's all celebrate Trump's achievement of bringing those dozen cases of COVID-19 all the way down to 7 million infections and 200,000 deaths.

Fantastic you incompetent jackass!
By johnforbes
#127615
But Elkin, you are citing the only two figures the morons on TV know -- total cases and deaths with co-morbid conditions.

Total cases merely show wide asymptomatic spread, and that was inevitable anyhow as covid washed across the country via grocery stores and essential workers.

But we now know the CDC survival rates are shockingly good.

The Left hates this good news.

The number of infections and deaths are the key metrics in understanding how this disease has affected the nation.

The fatality rate is 10 TIMES greater than the flu. So this is very deadly. Even Trump acknowledged it during the Woodward interview. Not to mention the fact how Trump tried to downplay the severity of the disease by ostensibly misinterpreting the basic statistics.

Thousands could have been saved by the simple act of wearing a mask......which Trump ridiculed Biden for doing during the debate.

I'm just grateful our President took the miracle drug HCQ to make himself immune to catching COVID.

If he hadn't, we could have been looking at a seriously ill President right before a major election.

Or worse...

Like most people who have lived in Asia, I always thought masks might help.

However, the WHO and CDC and Surgeon General and Dr Fauci all said through March 31, 2020, that masks were NOT needed for healthy members of the general population.

The first study in NATURE did NOT find droplets or aerosols outgoing for study members WITH covid, so there was really no science at the time in early April when the CDC and WHO said go ahead and wear masks.

So after it was determined scientifically that masks and social distancing were found to be effective in reducing the transmission of COVID-19....Trump went out and ignored the rules and turned into a super spreader.

Karma was swift and brutal in this situation.

Maybe if they bothered to do the contact tracing as suggested then they would have figured it out.

And Trump claimed that he didn't know when he was tested before the last debate?

And should we be surprised that this comes from the guy who hides his taxes, grades, medical reports etc............

Trump ridiculed Biden for wearing a mask and then got promptly infected with COVID-19 and spread it throughout his staff.

Even Melania swiped her hand away from Trump......she wants to have nothing to to with that numbnut.
