Political discussions about everything

So now it turns out that the wife, who claimed she took medical advice from Trump, actually donated the max to Hillary in 2016.

She may be charged with assault against her husband, whom she reportedly intended to divorce anyhow.

The gal who wrote the story for NBC News was offered this added info, but she had no desire to correct her earlier erroneous story.

After all, the earlier dishonest story had served NBC's purpose of hating Trump.

So what does that have to do with Trump's incompetence? Even if your story is true, it doesn't make Trump's failures any less terrible or forgivable.

All you can ever dredge up is one or two isolated cases of behavior you don't like in order to distract from Trump's myriad categorical, across-the-board failures.

You start these idiotic, pointless threads to desperately pin Trump's failures on Democrats somehow when they had nothing to do with them.

The real problem is that NBC's story was not true.

Nor, when presented with new evidence to change the story, did NBC do that.

Journalism is just totally dead if you can't have the what, when, where, who, how parts of a story nailed down, and that is true regardless of whether a person is on the Right or the Left.

johnny, the woman is mentally ill. Of course she carelessly interpreted Trump's careless pronouncements. She pisoned herself too, dummy. Political contributions doesn't change a thing. You are only pretending it is relevant.

There is nothing about the follow up information that changes the point of the initial story at all.

And it certainly doesn't in any way make Trump's incompetence any less egregious.

I don't believe it or disbelieve it because it is irrelevant to our current situation. It changes nothing whether it is true ar false.

Why you focus on such nonsense as a means to avoid the hard truth of Trump's incompetence is beyond me. You should know better.

NBC wrote up the story as a way of attacking Trump.

When handed proof their story was false, they didn't want it because it would implicate a Hillary supporter who may well have committed a crime.

This is germane because it reveals that journalism is utterly dead.

But it wasn't "false" johnny. It was incomplete, as is ALL news when a story breaks.

You need to learn that such stories are not damning if true nor exonerating if false. They are just anecdotes for "Enquiring Minds" who "want to know." You know, simple people like you. They seem to mesmerize you.

There are always mentally ill people who do crazy things. Showing that some aspects of such a story are inaccurate, incomplete, or even false, does not exonerate the President, as you seem to think it does, from all his really big mistakes elsewhere where they actually matter. You seem to think that if you wag your finger disapprovingly at the media for what amounts to an irrelevant human interest story then Trump will somehow not have made the decisions he made. But he DID make them, johnny, whether FOXnews reported it or MSNBC reported it. Your job is to defend Trump's decisions, not waste time shooting the messengers. But you CAN'T defend his decisions, so shooting the messenger is all you (like Trump) ever have.

The best thing you can do is not pass on such irrelevant gossip as if it matters. You become part of the nattering rumor mill. If you let such nonsense make up your mind one way or the other concerning Trump's competence, then you're an imbecile. I hadn't even heard of the gossip until you unwittingly passed it on from your handlers. Think about it, johnny.

Stop picking on silly irrelevant stories as though they make Trump's incompetence acceptable. No matter how many ridiculous isolated incidents you come up with, they won't alter the very real consequences of his actual decisions. Those are the important stories you can never refute. You don't even try, you nitpick petty details, and that should tell you something.

Then they are called "half" truths....and they are lies...! :O
By Clownkicker
#123838
If it is reported that Trump is "obese" and then a day later more facts are reported more accurately reporting that Trump weighs 243 pounds and is 6'3" tall, sillydummy actually believes this makes the first report that Trump is "obese" to be a "half" truth because those facts were not included in the first report and it is thus a lie.

That's how fucking stupid sillydummy is.

The first report is still 100% true, you fucking imbecile. The only difference is, after the second report we know EXACTLY how obese Trump is.

Yes, the NBC story was incomplete, and I don't fault NBC for that.

But, when NBC learned its original anti-Trump story was false, did they correct it?

You bet NBC did not.

But johnny, if you found out that the story was incomplete, then someone obviously reported it to you. What difference does it make to you who reported it?

Obviously your handlers are watching out for you and feeding you all the irrelevant bullshit you need to distract you from Trump's incompetence during this time of tragedy. You got your terribly critical news about one mentally ill woman. What do you care what NBC did or didn't do? They likely had moved on to report the next day's Trump travesty.

Like maybe they were reporting on Trump's public gloating on Saturday about Mike Pence talking for five minutes without answering the question Trump was asked about why Trump had refused to open ACA enrollment for the millions of Americans without health insurance and what alternative was Trump offering to get insurance for all those Americans without health insurance during this pandemic, especially those who got their insurance through their employers but had now lost their jobs. Coward Trump turned it over to Pence. When Pence had rambled on for five minutes Trump stepped in and said, "I think it's one of the greatest answers I've ever heard because Mike was able to speak for five minutes and not even touch the question. So I said--I said that's what I call a great professional."

johnny, think about how much of a sociopath you have to be to actually BRAG that you didn't answer a question about whether Americans can get health insurance during this pandemic.

That's the man you support, johnny. He has actually become THAT evil, to publicly gloat over people not getting an answer to their frightening, potentially life-ruining medical insurance problem.

And if you continue to condone his actions, you are also part of that evil.

Come on, Clown.

You know very well that NBC got the facts wrong, and that the only reason they are not correcting the story is that the correction would show that their original anti-Trump slant was completely wrong.

Favoring fake news does NOT help the case for the Left.

As expected, not a peep out of hypocrite johnforbes about Trump's documented contempt for Americans in need and facing ruin.

Favoring inhuman behavior does NOT help the case for the Right either, does it, johnny?

Apparently Birx and her peers are counting every death WITH coronavirus as a death BECAUSE of it.

No wonder pneumonia deaths are suspiciously down this winter.

We'll never get accurate stats UNLESS they make better stat distinctions, eh?

Do you think we will ever get anything accurate out of Trump?

So what are we up to now....12,000 lies or something.

But Obama and Hillary....right Johnnie?
By johnforbes
#123885
Context matters, Elkin.

If you want to say Trump -- or any president -- could do a perfect job facing a pandemic, you know that is not true.

Birx and Fauci clearly have other agendas, and both of them are Democrats, and Democrats know their sole November chance is to have a weak economy.

Well maybe if Trump didn't ignore the warning signs to begin with then we would not have been in this situation to begin with in the first place.

I'm not what it took for Trump's political advisers to penetrate his thick skull?

Navarro wrote a memo to Trump explaining to him how devastating the coronavirus could be to society and Trump just ignored it....claiming afterwards how nobody could have known????????????????????

But the same could be said of Obama, who let 1 million Americans become infected before he woke up.

Or the same for Cuomo and deBlasio.

Cuomo clearly wants the nomination, so why was he slow on the uptake?

Could it be that most politicians are not doctors, and could it be that most people deal first with an impending crisis by going into denial?

Why yes, yes it could be.
