How is Sanders running as a Democrat. Check out the Senate site and he is listed as an Independent. Also Bloomberg was always a moderate Republican and now is running in the Democratic race.

I don't think it really matters because both will be easy to defeat.

Bernie is more of a socialist than a traditional Democrat.

Bloomberg spent almost all of his career as a nominal Republican, although he did do crazy things such as inviting more illegal aliens to come to NY and trying to regulate soda pop cup sizes.
