Political discussions about everything

a. Iowa cannot tell us who won yet. Why? I don't remember ever having to wait for the results in Iowa. Did the "wrong person" win?

b. What is Sanders doing in the Democratic Primary? Sanders is an Independent Senator. He only becomes a Democrat when it suits him. He is not a member of the Democratic Party.

c. Have any of the Sanders supporters studies his platform? Have they ever wondered who is going to pay for those massive give-aways?

d. Sanders recently had a heart attack and Biden would be 78 YO when he takes office. Voters will have to put a lot of research into who the Vice-Presidential candidate is. Should there be an upper limit on age as there is a minimum?

e. There are two multi-billionaires running for President. Vert few people would stand a chance against that much money. should there be a limit on spending? Should there be a limit on how much of your personal fortune you can spend on a campaign?

Biden had surgery twice for a brain aneurysm, didn't he?

I agree with Snake that age can be a concern, but Biden's first brain surgery was at age 45, so my concern would be more health than age.

For example, I do 400 situps every day and several hundred pushups plus running/hiking and free weights. I'm older than Mayor Bootygood, but he probably could do less exercise than Bernie.

Trump's father lived to 93, so perhaps that is where he gets his energy plus never drinking/smoking.

We all know the answer to that, of course that's the reason, plus they caught discrepancies where vote totals on the Clinton Staffers' produce app providing different numbers than hand counts. The DNC doesn't want Sanders to win because he's a wild card who can't be controlled, just as the GOP tried to stop Trump in 2016, for the same reason.
The app blamed for Iowa’s stalled Democratic caucus results was slapped together by an alum of Hillary Clinton’s failed 2016 presidential campaign.

Gerard Niemira, CEO of Shadow Inc. — the company tapped by the Iowa Democratic Party (IDP) to build an app for reporting the results of the crucial, first-in-the-nation caucus — served as director of product on Clinton’s 2016 campaign.

As of early Tuesday, the IDP had still not released the results of the chaotic caucus.

Shadow’s role in building the app was not publicly known before the failed rollout.

The plot thickens.
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf is reporting that the Iowa Democrats declined his department’s offer to help vet the app, which has been identified as not counting certain votes. He explained the Homeland vetting is the normal process, prior to using new voting systems.
I bet you that the votes that were under counted by the Clinton Staffer's designed app, were Sander's.

And the votes overcounted were no doubt for the South Bend Sissy.

Having grown up pampered, and then becoming a "consultant" on whatever, Bootygood had to find some way to run as a victim of society.

Perhaps never working for a living, and having a gay hubby, is enough to claim victim status?

Looks like democrats in Iowa screwed up so bad that they're going to have to do a recount, the DNC is sending in hundreds of their members to help so they have enough fingers and toes to count the votes.

There goes clown with another example of his ability to comprehend a simple sentence. "Some women will (let) you grab their pussy" Let in the English language means "allow". Plus no where in that statement did Trump ever said he had grabbed a woman's pussy. He made a very true statement, there are women out there that let women grab their pussies.

RealTool, as expected, is just making up stupid shit again.

Trump: You know, I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything.

Bush: Whatever you want.

Trump: Grab ’em by the pussy. You can do anything.

That is what Trump Actually said, Tool, you lying douchebag. What Trump described is how he routinely assaulted women without permission. "I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait."
There is nothing about the women allowing him to do it. He described how he does it before they can even stop him. Then, because they don't want to ruin their careers by speaking up in the moment, Trump characterizes it as the women "letting" him do it. The women didn't let him do it unless you consider not filing sexual assault charges against Trump and having Trump ruin their careers as "letting" him do it.

"Some women will (let) you grab their pussy" Let in the English language means "allow" <----RealTool's made up stupid shit to support grotesque sexual assault by fat Republicans That's is the actual representation of conservative family values from a conservative. It's revolting.

The point he is making is that, when you are a star -- a public figure, rich and famous -- you have ready access to not only to Tang (the refreshing drink) but to poontang.

And when you are a star -- a public figure, rich and famous --- it is still sexual assault, dummy.

Why are you trying to make excuses for a criminal, johnny? What if he did it to your wife, fer cripes sake. You're just going to let it go and make an excuse for him?

What a coward.

When Obama became president the tea party showed up to complain vociferously about how deficits were being runup...and when Trump showed up the tea party went away as Trump spends like a drunken sailor....now apparently deficits don't matter to the tea party.

The stench of right wing hypocrisy is nauseating.

Elkin, can you name a president who added NINE TRILLION to debt (more than all prior presidents combined)?

Obama.
By Clownkicker
#122584
johnny, can you name a president who is on track to surpass Obama's emergency recession spending to ward off a depression but who is adding to the debt at a record pace during the best economy of our lifetime instead of paying down the debt in good times as every serious economist recommends?

I'll let you figure it out, johnny. Get back to us tomorrow if you somehow hit upon the answer in the next 24 hours.

Oh, I'm well aware of the spending.

So is Trump, who didn't like it either but it was true we needed the military beefed up.

Sadly, it is also true that we need infrastructure work in America and new bridges are expensive.

Debt, deficits, these ALWAYS matter regardless of what party is in power.

To Trump's credit, he hopes to grow his way out. Obama merely wanted to cope with it by raising taxes.
By Clownkicker

'Hoping to grow his way out' and $3.50 will get you a cup of coffee, johnny, and not a thing more.

There is no chance whatsoever that Trump's policies will grow us out of anything and you know it. There was no bump to the economy from his tax cuts for the wealthy and we aren't going to exceed 2.2 % growth this year either.

That won't buy us any infrastructure nor will it even slow growth of the deficit in the least because taxes have been cut to the point where even in the best of economic times, corporations and the wealthy pay a lower percentage of their incomes in taxes than the average American worker.

Trump likely hasn't paid any taxes in years. Prove otherwise if you can. Oh right, he won't do what every other President in the past 50 years has done and shown us his tax returns, so you're out of luck on that one.

"Debt, deficits, these ALWAYS matter regardless of what party is in power."-johnfibs

But apparently they don't, johnny, at least not to you. The proof is that you have not criticized Trump even once for his spending. In fact, you actually went so far as to support it in your last post. Yet you still keep criticizing Obama's spending (which kept us out of a depression) every time your Obama Derangement Syndrome flairs up.

Economics 101, johnny. Deficit spend as required in hard economic times (Obama)--pay it off in good economic times.(Not Trump or Republicans or Tea Party conservatives who whine about how deficits matter. They're all hypocrites just like you, johnny.) How you got several college degrees without learning that only proves you wasted your time going to college at all. It certainly didn't teach you to think for yourself, nor did you learn a moral or ethical foundation for you life. All you came away with was an ingrained partisan hypocrisy.

But there is a chance of that, and America's whole history illustrates it.

Look at the millions of jobs created in the Trump era, largely due to tax cuts and regulatory cuts and a general pro-growth federal stance.

With socialism, there is no chance, and both Obama and Bootygood had fathers who preached Marxism with all its futility.

A poor agricultural kid like me, working right next to illegal immigrants, would have had no chance whatever at financial success in a Marxist economy.

It used to take 10 tomato baskets for me to earn a buck. Kids like Mayor Buttgood, who have never worked at all in manual labor, don't even comprehend the grinding nature of manual labor for poor, uneducated people, and thus they have no empathy for them and think everybody naturally goes to Oxford and hangs out sipping tea and discussing Sartre.
By Clownkicker
#122618
johnny, you don't get to simply overllok the fact that millions more jobs were created under Obama 'socialism' policies that you pretend can't grow jobs. They did. You lied.

The Trump tax cuts did nothing at all to even put an upward blip in the employment trends of the Obama Administration. Nothing improved under Trump policies.

You just described Trump to a "T" johnny. Stop making a fool of yourself by letting your real beliefs incriminate both you AND Trump.

#122619
Are you kidding?

Unemployment for blacks, Hispanics, women...all are at historic good levels.

401 balances increased, millions of new jobs.

Don't let political hate blind you to reality, or to the many good things about America -- a country which modern Democrats appear to hate.
By Clownkicker
#122622
None of that refutes a thing I said, johnny. And no, I wasn't kidding. Trajectories on employment and the economy merely continued on the slopes from the Obama tenure. Trump could have been in Florida full time and nothing would have changed.

Well, except that the debt would be lower now because more taxes would have been collected.

Don't let your partisan hypocrisy blind you to reality, or the many good things about America that Trump is dismantling -- a country which modern Republicans are selling down the river for short term personal political gain.

Did you even hear what Kelly said about Trump recently?
By elklindo69
#122627
A few years ago Trump got his tax cuts which cut the corporate tax rate. Trump claimed that this was going to be "rocket fuel" or whatever he said it was going to be. Productivity was going to improve, better pay and more economic growth. None of this ever occurred....however it tacked trillions onto the national debt. It's nonsensical to have tax cuts in the middle of an economic expansion. Tax cuts are supposed to be implemented during an economic contraction when people need the money.

Now Trump wants another round of tax cuts? This is nothing more than a bread and circus act.
By johnforbes
#122672
This has been discussed many time, and of course it is simplistic to say any president has some direct, causal, magical ability to create or lose jobs.

But tax cuts, regulatory cuts, and trade incentives matter enormously, and Trump's pro-business tone and stance have helped with job creation.

Historic low unemployment for women, minorities -- the folks Democrats pretend to care about -- have transpired.

Times are good, and it is mere whining to seek to pretend that Clown and Elkin are struggling to make ends meet on some "Grapes of Wrath" journey out of the Dust Bowl.
By elklindo69
#122695
OH come on already...you can't be serious....LOL

Trump is riding Obama's coattails. There is no doubt, by any objective standard that the job market has been any better now than it was before he was elected.

Trump inherited a great job market from Obama. No doubt about that.

Futhermore, Trump is boasting about the stock market and 401ks. But only about half of the people in the country own stocks in some form or another. And some 85% of the stock market is owned by the people in the top 10% based on net worth. So the stock market have exclusively benefited the wealthy.

What Obama himself has been claiming has been that signing that stimulus package set in motion all the job gains we've seen under Trump.

However, Obama himself said that Trump had no "magic wand" to bring back jobs, and that high unemployment reflected merely "structural" changes which could not be reversed.

Obama was wrong, and Trump's attitude has helped -- a pro-growth, America first, cut taxes, cuts regs attitude.

On Nov 9, 2016, Krugman -- Nobel in hand -- said the economy and the markets would go down. I felt he was wrong, though I have no Nobel. Fortunately, I was correct.
