Political discussions about everything

Snakeoil, you obviously don't have an MBA or you would not have posted that.

Facts are just facts. They are not a "bitch" or some such juvenile wording.

No president has an absolute or total effect on the economy, and every president seeks to take credit for any success and to avoid blame for any economic failure.

Those are the facts of life.

As to Trump, the media outlets have been wildly biased against him, and that includes the financial press.

Even today, some reports are that tariffs "backfired" and did no good, but what did other presidents achieve in confronting China?

Nothing because Obama and Clinton never dared to even try.

Nobel winner Krugman said on Nov 9, 2016 that the economy would be down long-term under Trump, but that was ELEVEN THOUSAND DOW POINTS AGO.

Can Trump take the credit for that by himself? Of course not; any president can merely set the tone, but Trump did push the Fed into cutting, and Trump did dial down regulation, and Trump did help manufacturing to some extent, and a president like Obama was too young and inexperienced to even know such things were possible.

Because, in the narrow world of Harvard Law, nothing but socialism is possible.

Snake, hopefully you are not as young and dumb as Elkin.

The entire point of a trade "war" (really a dispute or negotiation) is short-term pain for long-term gain.

Surely you kids can comprehend that?
#121552
So Johnnie...you're going to get us to believe that Trump's trade war is beneficial for the United States?

Just like Trump's tax cuts which the national debt soaring...where was that 4 percent GDP growth that was supposed to materialize?
#121554
Elk....When Trump announced he was running for President ,
a lot of celebrities said they were leaving the country if he was elected...
Have they left?
Elk, unless you are out in the street fighting your neighbor's dogs for their scraps..
I say ...you have nothing to bitch about...! :O

Silly....You hypocritical assholes were griping over Obama for some 8 fucking years.

How many times did the secret service have to visit the old washed up Ted Nugent for threatening Obama?

I don't ever remember Obama separating little kids from their parents and putting them into cages, calling immigrants "animals" saying that Haitians all have AIDS, Nigerians "live in huts", Africa was madeup of shithole countries, Puerto Ricans were "lazy" , called tribal lands "Indian country" and called a bunch of tiki torch white supremacist thugs who were shouting "Jews will not replace us" as "nice guys" to then have a record number of antisemitic attacks?

WTF.....I how could it Nazi that coming???

Please take a moment to analyze John Forbes posts. I posted facts twice and John answers by bragging about the value of an MBA, posting stuff that doesn't make sense and attacking other posters.

No John, I do not have an MBA. My degree is in engineering (i have four patents so far.)
#121584
Snake, you posted opinions from a leftist perspective.

Which is fine, but if you are an engineer you should know your political opinions might be the same as facts or they might not.

If you had an MBA, Snake, you would not have posted the dumb things you did about the economy and any transitory politician.

You will need revenue from your patents because you won't make much investing unless you improve your knowledge thereof.

"Come on, Elkin, you leftists look silly pretending you care about debts or deficits."-johnforbes

Look who's talking, you truly pathetic excuse for a human being.

Come on, johnforbes, you rightists look silly pretending you care about debts or deficits. You ONLY care about debts and deficits when you can blame them on the other party.

You used to (and still do) criticize Obama for his spending, even when it was Republicans in the House who passed the budget and decided how much he would spend. Now, when Trump is spending us into record deficits, greater than Obama ever spent, (thanks to Trump's really stupid tax cut bill) and projections of the debt are blowing up under Trump, all of a sudden there is a deafening silence from all of you dishonest, self-righteous, partisan weasels.

Just fuck off with your dumbfuck comments to others about who cares about debts and deficits, you dishonest Trump-supporting skid mark of a partisan hypocrite.

Now, when Trump is spending us into record deficits, greater than Obama ever spent, …"
And when Trump shows his concern as to how our money is being spent...
the Demos use it as an excuse to impeach.. :O
#121597
Clownslacker is being dishonest, as usual.

I've often said -- and herewith repeat -- that debt is a problem.

But Trump's plan, just like JFK's and Reagan's, is to grow out way out, and that stands in stark contrast to Obama's plan to just spend and spend and spend.

Which is the same plan Pete Buttgood and Bernie and Fauxcahontas have.
#121608
What Snake and Elkin and the other leftist are doing is simple -- they are rooting for the economy to fail because their hatred for Trump is so out of control.

Are debts and deficits problems? Yes, they absolutely are, but the only solutions offered by Mayor Bootygood and Bernie and Fauxcahontas are enormous NEW spending problems such as Medicare for all.

The truth is that kids like Elkin don't care even slightly about national debt and would gleefully rack up far more under a Democrat presidency.
#121610
I am being completely honest, as usual.

johnforbes has often said -- and he herewith sheepishly repeated like a conservative wimp-- that debt is a problem.

But Trump is immune to any criticism by johnforbes for doing what he calls "spending like a drunken sailor" because that would mean johnny would have to criticize all politicians the same for identical (or even worse in Trump's case) behaviors. But lacking any balls at all, johnforbes always chooses a grovelling partisan hypocrisy stance instead.
#121617
John Forbes was hollering at the top of his lungs at Obama's spending. However when Trump got elected and started spending like a drunken sailor while cutting taxes which led to blowout budget deficits....Johnnie remained silent, or at least claimed that "growth" would fix everything....when it didn't.

Looks like the tea party is in a slumber waiting for a democrat to be elected as president. At that point they will wake up again and start crying about the budget deficits....

I've often expressed debt and deficit concerns, and repeat them herewith.

But the leftist kids on this site couldn't care less about spending, and that is why AOC and Bernie et al. claim Medicare for all is affordable.

Are debts and deficits problems? Yes, they absolutely are, but the only solutions offered by Mayor Bootygood and Bernie and Fauxcahontas are enormous NEW spending problems such as Medicare for all.
#121649
Look at John Forbes squirm and try to wiggle out of his hypocrisy. Looks like Trump's tax cuts did not bring in the 4% growth that John Forbes was claiming and the economy never will under Trump.

And with another war started by the republicans, who will pay for it?

Where's the tea party when you need them?
#121673
"First of all there is no new war, but if there is...you will pay for it, that's the way the government works."-RealFool

Yeah, that's exactly the way it works with border walls, isn't it, dummy?

You know, some fat fucker gets you to believe Mexico will pay for it but it ends up YOU will pay for it, that's the way scam artists work.
