There are more than a billion believers of Islam around the world. If Islam was the actual source for the anti American behavior of the radical Islamists, then we would be seeing many 10's of millions of protesters resorting to their violence and hatred. What we are seeing is the radicalized extremists among them who are committing their acts of mayhem in the name of Islam and Allah. They're in a power struggle and wish to be the top dogs in the world and they're willing to do anything including acts of terrorism to further their goals. More than anything they direct their anger towards the USA because we are still the top dogs in the world but they are emboldened by the weakness of our current administration and the belief that BHO will do nothing against them because he is one of them. They aren't influenced by people speaking negatively about BHO because they understand that he is not a leader and is weak and anything we could say negatively about him is already out there for the world to see in his record and apologizing at every chance. We would see a lot less violent actions against us if in the wake of things like the "offensive" video, if BHO would come out saying people in our country have the right to free speech, and in any case their violent actions from previous incidents throw more of a negative light on Islam than the film could. He should tell them to get over it.
