Political discussions about everything

In his 23 page opening statement, Sondland said there was a quid pro quo.

Under questioning by Schiff and Jordan, Sondland later said there was NOT, and that all Trump said was he wanted the Ukraine president to "do the right thing," that he (Trump) did not want a quid pro quo.

Four Democrat donors are Sondland's lawyers, which is probably why his opening statement did not have room in its 23 pages for the truth Sondland later admitted under questioning.

No, that's NOT what he said. He only said that he asked Trump what he wanted from Zelensky and TRUMP, not Sondland, said there was no quid pro quo. But that goes against what EVERYONE involved with Ukraine understood about the situation, that the aid would NOT be released unless a statement was made by Zelensky. Sondland knew there was a quid pro quo and said so to others at the time. Everyone involved (including Zelensky) knew that was the case. Even johnforbes knows this to be true.

The only reason Trump released the aid when he did is the phone call exposing the quid pro quo became public knowledge and he had to try to cover his ass about it. Trump had held up the aid for something like 74 days all the time knowing it was critical to American interests.

Yep, the lawyers removed it and under questioning Sondland told the truth, when Sondland asked Trump what he wanted from Ukraine, Trump said "nothing" I just want them to do the right thing!

Game over for the Democrats.

Clown is wrong.

The aid was only held up 55 days, an amount of time which isn't at all unusual.

But set that aside and ask whether the aid -- surely by now all, or mostly, in the hands, of some crook -- should have been given at all.

In asking questions about corruption, and in hoping to not waste taxpayer money, Trump certainly did the correct thing.

There was no quid pro quo, and the Dems are merely liars in that regard, but the billion dollars has surely already been wasted in the third most corrupt country in the world (Ukraine).

It is really staggering that johnforbes will lie so blatantly about this. Sondland said in so many words there was a quid pro quo. Everybody in the loop with Sondland knew there was a quid pro quo. Sondland is Trump's hand picked Ambassador to the E.U.. Sondland gave Trump a million dollars. Sondland is not a Democrat and neither is Giuliani or any of the others in Trump's shadow government who worked on the issue of Ukraine, no matter how johnforbes tries to spin it.

Nobody beyond Trump supporter diehards believs your lie, johnny.
