The real question is, after your years of droning on about how unfit Clinton and Biden and every other DEMOCRAT that avoided the draft are, are you now ready to admit the draft dodging doesn't necessarily reflect poorly on anyone and is not a bad thing?

After your years of smearing only Democrats with the label of "draft dodgers" you're now silent about Trump. For some reason you are unwilling to smear Trump with the same label. Only a scumbag weasel behaves that way.

And once again, Mattis did not "avoid" Vietnam by staying in college. He was pursuing a military career along a reasonable path and was commissioned in time to be sent there. Unlike Trump, Mattis simply wasn't sent to Vietnam when he could have been. Do you also smear every other soldier serving in 1971 at other bases around the world because they "avoided" Vietnam by being ordered elsewhere? Of course you don't. You are nothing more than a disgustingly partisan hypocrite.

The Media and Democrats will do ANYTHING to try and damage or belittle Trump. There is no doubt had Trump briefed Pelosi and Schiff, the planned mission would have been leaked either causing the mission to be scrapped or the mission would have failed, either is acceptable to the Democrats if it keeps anything positive be published about Trump. They would consider the deaths of our Troops for the great good!

Mattis, like everybody, followed the war daily on TV and newspapers.

He knew, as we all did, what the hot years of the war were, and he could have joined up any day he was in college.

He knew -- had to know -- precisely what he was doing, which was letting draftees do the fighting while he sat on his ass studying and awaiting his commission.

In the very case of somebody like that (the Army prepares for this), he would have entered as a sgt and could very, very, easily have fought.

But he chose the slick way -- dodging while in ROTC.

Meanwhile, other -- like me and millions of others -- squared our shoulders, heaved a heavy sigh, and confronted the situation.

Not everybody hid, as Clown did, or ran away to Canada.

Well, after that long, droning avoidance by johnforbes of Trump's draft dodging making Trump unfit to be President, let's get back to the death of Al Baghdadi.

Trump takes credit for the death of Al Baghdadi. Let's hear how he described the mission in a press conference, shall we?

"We had absolutely perfect, as though you were watching a movie. It was-ehh-that in a--the technology there alone is really great."

Truly insightful and informative grasp of the mission, right johnny? You would never know Trump was a draft dodger, would you? Obviously it didn't effect his competence to be Commander in Chief in the slightest.

Now let's look at Trump's tweets from 2012, shall we?

"Obama deserves much less credit for the killing of Bin Laden. The praise goes to our brave military and intelligence officers."
"Stop congratulating Obama for killing Bin Laden. The Navy Seals[sic] killed Bin Laden."-Donald J. Trump

So it's good to know that Trump doesn't really deserve credit for killing Al Baghdadi. He said so himself.
Undoubtedly this will upset the Republicans here. Well, except for johnforbes. He's a partisan hypocrite and has no problem at all with Trump's hypocrisy.

Everybody do Trump a favor and stop congratulating him for the killing of Al Baghdadi. We don't want to burden the little man with undeserved praise.

The difference is, when Bin Laden was killed Obama claimed credit by saying "I" at least 30 times, where Trump gave credit where credit was due by saying "they" "us" "we" did it.
