The federal government has closed a Holder driven criminal probe of alleged financial misconduct by Arizona lawman Joe Arpaio, who styles himself as "America's toughest sheriff," and no charges will be filed, the U.S. Attorney's Office said on Friday.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Ann Birmingham Scheel said in a statement that her office "is closing its investigation into allegations of criminal conduct by current and former members of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office and the Maricopa County Attorney's Office."

Under Obama all judges are independent to make their own decisions. Not like under George Bush where Karl Rove lobbied to republican elected state officials to appoint judges that were hardcore conservatives. When election came, Rove would force this appointed judges or Attorney Generals make up false charges against Democratic candidates to damage their reputation to the voters. After the election, these fake charges will then be dismissed for lack of evidence but the damage has been done...the democratic candidates already lost because of those fake charges.

Remember the attorney general in New Mexico who was a republican and got appointed and then was force to file fake charges against democrats. He resigned and went to the public. So did other republican attorney generals.
