Political discussions about everything

He really is an illustration of civilian bravery.

Sure, we had JFK perform well with the PT 109. Sure, Truman was in WW I. Even Lincoln had some claim to military service. Teddy charged up San Juan Hill.

But Trump does things I sure wouldn't do, like invite that leftist weasel Chuck Todd in for an interview, or for the thousandth time facing down the leftist haters in the so-called Press Corps.

Trump has more backbone than any president in our lifetime. Love him or hate him, that remains true.

There must have been some chapter in the Art of the Deal that I missed where it says to drive up to the NK border and just sit there like a demented stalker desperate to catch a glimpse of your despot bro.

I wonder of Kim's going to have to take out a restraining order on this needy fucking pumpkin headed gasbag....

Holey cow! Pope bestows honor on Trump for his brave actions.
VATICAN CITY, June 30 (Reuters) - Pope Francis praised on Sunday the meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and said he hoped it would lead to peace.

"In the last few hours we saw in Korea a good example of the culture of encounter. I salute the protagonists, with a prayer that such a significant gesture will be a further step on the road to peace, not only on that peninsula, but for the good of the entire world," he told thousands of people in St. Peter's Square for his weekly address and blessing.

Trump became the first sitting U.S. president to set foot in North Korea on Sunday when he met its leader, Kim Jong Un, in the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ) between the two Koreas and agreed to resume stalled nuclear talks..

There must have been some chapter in the Art of the Deal that I missed where it says you meet a brutal dictator on his own soil and legitimize him in exchange for jack shit and then proudly strut about like a pigeon because you're too fucking stupid to understand that you just disgraced your country for a photo op to gin up your dimwitted worshipers.

So North Korea has pledged denuclearization in :

1985, 1992, 1994, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2016 and 2018.

Let me remind you that every single pledge was a lie.

If you believe any promise that Kim made to Trump....well then...I have five failed casinos in Atlantic City to sell you!!!

LMFAO!

Clown, first you guys predicted Trump would take us to war in North Korea and called for diplomacy as the solution. Now you guys are saying diplomacy won't work in stopping North Korea from getting nuclear weapons and they must be stopped NOW!

"Clown, first you guys predicted Trump would take us to war in North Korea and called for diplomacy as the solution. Now you guys are saying diplomacy won't work in stopping North Korea from getting nuclear weapons and they must be stopped NOW!"-RealStool

Tool, why must conservatards always lie about everything?

I never said anything even remotely similar to that lie. Why do you even bring me into this idiotic thread? Only an absolute moron [read "johnforbes"] would believe Trump exhibited any bravery whatsoever in North Korea. It isn't even worth talking about, unless you are doing a spoof on the ineffectual stunt.

Meanwhile, Iran has increased their enriched uranium stockpiles as a direct result of Trump's foolish withdrawal from the nuclear deal. Smooth move, Ex-lax. Clearly Trump is a real peace maker. :ninja:

Clown has asked the pregnant question: Why must the Left lie about everything?

Perhaps because, for the Left, everything relates to ideology, and to the multiple attempts of the Left to shoehorn the many details of life into its cramped ideological mold.

"Clown, first you guys predicted Trump would take us to war in North Korea and called for diplomacy as the solution. ….. Tool, why must conservatards always lie about everything?
Ever the typical liberal...Clown conveniently forgets how Hawaiians were hiding in their sewers when their early warning sirens accidently went off …!

sillydummy, you need to check RealTool's lie before you accuse me of anything.

As always, RealTool made it up. I hadn't even commented on this thread before he made up that lie about me to dupe the dimwitted, which he obviously he succeeded in doing with YOU.

Clown, you forget it's all in this thread, so please point out the lie about you?
#117191
But in particular you can pick the one you made about me, since that is the specific lie I'm talking about.
Clown you are once again suffering from brain farts, if you had an example of a specific lie I made about you, you would quote it. :P

^^^^^^^ Tool, there's "a specific lie." You need to remember that all the lies you tell remain on this forum forever. You can't pretend you didn't tell them.

Not a single word of that post making claims of what I have "said" or "predicted" in the past or present is true.
You made it up, as you make up everything you post here.

Everything out of your mouth is made up stupid shit. It's all conservatives have.

There are many forms of bravery.

For example, when Clowntoker fastens his belt every morning, it takes courage for him to face the rolls of adipose tissue which descend -- much like an avalanche -- toward his attempts to cinch the belt.

"Clown, first you guys predicted Trump would take us to war in North Korea and called for diplomacy as the solution. Now you guys are saying diplomacy won't work in stopping North Korea from getting nuclear weapons and they must be stopped NOW!"-RealTool
Clown you can't escape your past statements, you did predict Trump would get us into a war with North Korea with his threats, instead of using diplomacy like Obama did. I'm glad to see you've come around and now agree Trump's path is the correct one. ;)
#117210
"...you did predict Trump would get us into a war with North Korea with his threats, instead of using diplomacy like Obama did. I'm glad to see you've come around and now agree Trump's path is the correct one."

And what does RealTool do when confronted with proof of his lies?

He posts another total lie, of course. It's all conservatives have.

Fox News History of North Korea........

1984–2011: Kim Jong-who?

2012–2017: Some insane dictator who murders his own people.

2018: Just a big old misunderstood buffoon who only wants to take selfies and chill with his new bro Trump.

2019: Look folks.....sometimes you have to murder your own people to get shit done.
#117229
At this point, Clown and Elkin will give us their plan for N Korea.

Every president for half a century has failed with N Korea, and Trump has accomplished more than all of them put together.

But surely Clown and Elkin have their own plan for N Korea.

After all, if you add up Clown's IQ and Elkin's IQ, the sum almost comes to 100...
#117233
johnforbes is so dimwitted he doesn't realize that Trump hasn't accomplished ANYTHING with North Korea other than legitimize a brutal dictator's government.

Kim hasn't done ANYTHING to reduce his nuclear capabilities. And he certainly hasn't come close to Trump's previous insistence that North Korea's denuclearization be "total, verifiable, and irreversible".

As with all conservatives, johnforbes confuses silly photo ops and cheap medallions with actual accomplishments.

Trump has got Korea to stop it's nuclear tests and long range missile tests. Most telling is North Korea is no longer calling for death to America and all of it's anti American posters have been removed. The people of North Korea are no longer being preached nightly on the Korean news about how bad Americans are.

So what did all of this cost us? $150 Billion? Removing tariffs? Concessions? Military equipment? Help rebuilding their country? The answer is NOTHING! Trump is strategic genius!!!
#117242
So Justme....do you really think that that the North Koreans are going to give up their nuclear weapons because Trump says so?

If you believe that...then I have 5 bankrupted casinos to sell you along with a defunct airline company and a defunct fake university.

LMFAO!!!

Perhaps the one thing that Trump can do today on the 4th of July is to lay a wreath at the Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier who took his place in Vietnam.

Or even better maybe during Trump's silly military parade, he could proudly display all of the great Trump family members who are proud military veterans or are currently serving.

OH...but wait.....Trump dodged the draft 5 times and nobody in his family has ever served.

Never mind.
#117282
Come on, Elkin, surely you were in diapers during Vietnam?

Surely you should leave those concerns to the 3 million Vietnam veterans and not try to pretend you feel their pain?

Besides, who took Bill Clinton's place when he dodged the draft? Or Bush Junior's?

Did every soldier have protection in country as Al Gore did as a Senator's son?

In addition, if you look at the careful way Trump walks, perhaps he did indeed have a foot problem?
#117286
Elkin, go back and read my post above.

What I said was that you should not try to tell Vietnam veterans how to feel about draft-dodgers, whether they are Repubs or Dems.

Life is a complicated thing.

Ponder Audie Murphy, one of the most (or the most, depending on definitions) decorated vets of WW II.

Nobody here has a military record to equal Audie's. He was short and slender, but quick, decisive, deadly.

In civilian life, patriotic people like Cagney got Audie into films and he made 100k per picture (a fortune back then).

Although he didn't drink or smoke, Audie did have adjustment problems, and several of his earlier weak points (little formal education and a propensity to gamble) came into play.

When he died in a plane crash, he left his wife with huge debt and she survived for the subsequent decades as a clerk at the VA.

Was I as good a soldier as Audie? Heck no, not even close. But, as a civilian, my performance and judgment was much better.

If Trump, or Bill Clinton, had served in Vietnam, would they have been good soldiers? Probably nothing special.

But their performance as civilians was characterized by success.

Yes, I consider whether a guy dodged the draft as one factor, but it isn't the end all and be all of an evaluation of a person.
