Then he was urged, apparently by all the Democrats on his staff, to give some final attempt to railroad Trump.

Mueller CANNOT show up and testify because he would be asked:

1) Why did you hire all partisan Democrats, half of which actually donated to Obama or Hillary?

2) Isn't it true you knew 22 months ago there was no collusion?

But Mueller almost surely will not show up to testify. He could take softball questions from Dems, but he could not answer:

1) Bob, why did you hire ALL partisan Dems?

2) Didn't you know, 2 mos in, there was no collusion? Why did you hide that for the next 22 mos?

Mueller doesn't believe there was "no collusion".

He only said there was "insufficient evidence" to make charges. In legalese, that means there WAS evidence of collusion. There just wasn't enough evidence to make charges stick.
