Political discussions about everything

Nearly three-fourths of businesses in Shanghai and Beijing said the latest round of U.S. tariffs and planned counter-tariffs are negatively affecting their businesses. Most say orders have decreased and that some foreign companies have cut back on manufacturing investments in China.
Winner, winner, chicken dinner. :P

Not quite.

The U.S. does not want a trade war with China.

But the situation for China, which was already dealing with a cooling of its once white hot economy, is roughly six times more dire.

As an investor, I just think this will be sorted out because neither side wants a trade war.

Not quite.

Of course "The U.S." does not want a trade war with China. The trouble is, Donald Trump DOES want a trade war with China, and he's the one waging the war and the one who counts in this situation. Trump, like RealTool, actually thinks that if a thousand Chinese companies go belly up while 'only' 500 U.S. companies go belly up in the same time, that we have 'won' the war. And all the socialist farm bailouts Trump can throw at the problem aren't going to fix the damage he's doing.

Clown if thousands of companies in China stop producing items Americans are buying, do you really think Americans will just do without those items? Of course not, it'll open up opportunities for thousands of new US companies to produce those items. Until those thousands of Chinese companies go under, we milk them dry through tariffs which goes right into the US budget which can be used to provide incentives for new start ups in America who will fill void. I for one don't feel sorry for those Americans who will lose money when they can no longer help China sell their products. Pure genius!!!

^^^^^^ What did I tell you? Exactly what I said about him and Trump.

If only Tool (and Trump) could recognize the delusional la-la-land he's living in.

True.

Another positive about the 2016 election is that the Bush family is no longer dominating it.

Bush Sr was praised 5 million times for his role in WW II, and he was VP and president, and his son was president, and Bush Sr's ego was so bloated that he actually wanted his other son Jeb to be president.

That is a vanity even larger than Hillary's girdle.
