Political discussions about everything

My thoughts are that conservatives are getting pretty desperate to distract from Trump's crimes that are coming out into the open if they give a crap about this sort of thing.

Every court decision is going against Trump. Deutsche Bank is going to turn over info about Trump's money laundering and the $300 million he owes to the foreign bank. This doesn't concern conservatives in the least for some reason, that their President is beholden to a foreign entity.

And they are also not bothered by Trump's tantrum yesterday, storming out of a meeting because he didn't have an infrastructure plan to offer America as he said he would. And why? because he finally figured out that to spend $2 trillion on roads and bridges would mean taxes would need to be raised. So he wussed out and had an "impromptu" orchestrated whining jag in the Rose Garden instead.

Trump said today that he can't do his job as long as he is being investigated. In other words, he admitted that Bill Clinton is a better President that Trump is. Clinton signed around 135 pieces of legislation into law while he was being ivestigated by Congress. Trump refuses to do anything while he's being investigated. If Trump openly admits he "can't" do his job under current conditions, it probably IS time to get rid of him. he should resign.

And now the markets are once again going into the toilet and the once-healthy global economy Trump inherited from Obama is at risk of a recession because of Trump's ill-advised trade war. johnforbes will crack another unimaginative joke about the $300,000 he lost today. But in reality he is shaking in his boots about what is to come if Trump remains in tantrum mode.

Now back to your regularly scheduled Republican distractions...

The entire Russia hoax is being exposed.

How could people such as Brennan and Clapper and Comey, with their ready access to intel, not have known the dossier was totally fake and paid for by Hillary and the DNC?

The issue wasn't investigation, but the partisan nature of it.

Ohr, Strozok, Page, Yates, Baker, Comey, McCabe, Abedin, Rice...these are among the characters who abused the tools of governance...

With the dumb decision of Sessions to needlessly recuse, the Democrats enjoyed two years of free investigation.

Mueller hired 100 percent partisan Democrats as his staff lawyers.

Within 2 months, they knew there was no collusion.

Mueller wasted the next 22 months on the absurd second part of his report, wherein he talked about possible obstruction events but was unable to make any charges.

But that all begged the question: How did the enormous Russia hoax begin?

Was it during the Oval Office meeting with Obama, Biden, Comey, and perhaps Brennan too?

Was that when this big partisan lie was concocted?

johnny, Mueller wasn't "unable" to make charges. He knew that you couldn't indict a sitting President, so there was no point in making any charges. Instead, he left it to Congress to pursue the matters that he articulated in the redacted portions of the report.

Mueller actually concluded that there were at least 8 instances of obstruction. He laid out a roadmap for Congress to investigate them and do its Constitutional oversight.

The weird thing is, you know yourself that Trump obstructed the investigation and told multiple people to lie to Mueller.
YOU KNOW IT. Yet you still pretend Trump is innocent and that Mueller wasted his time and that Congress is wasting its time doing its Constitutional duty to be a check on the Executive Branch.

Why do you want the U.S. to become a Banana Republic where the dictator does whatever he wants and remains above the law and immune to responsibility for his actions?
Trump has refused to comply with all legal subpoenas, which makes him a dictator. In his mind, no one can hold him accountable for his actions. And so do you.
Why you support a would-be dictator while pretending to be an American is mystifying. You don't have to LIKE the subpoenas, but you do have to expect your President to comply with them. Otherwise, your posturing about being a nation of laws is just that; mere posturing.

Why is it conservatives don't want us to be a nation of laws as they cheer Trump's refusal to obey the law? More mystifying hypocrisy.

johnny, Mueller wasn't "unable" to make charges.
The proof that Mueller couldn't bring charges, is that he didn't bring them. :P

It's bullshit that a President can't be charged with a crime, they just can't be prosecuted until they're out of office unless it a high crime against the country.

Tool, once a prosecutor makes charges, they must be tried within a certain amount of time.

And Trump is unprosecutable until he is out of office, so the charges would become void due to the lack of a speedy trial.
And you can't charge someone and then not give them a chance to defend themselves in court. That is an abuse of power.

"The proof that Mueller couldn't bring charges, is that he didn't bring them."-RealStool

No, dimwit, as I just explained, Mueller didn't bring charges because they could not be prosecuted, not because there was nothing against Trump. Something like eight counts of obstruction are explained in the Mueller Report. And if Congress is given the unredacted report, everyone will know what Trump did. Even dimwitted conservatives.

Part 2 of the report was very poorly written and rather obviously thrown together by some of the 19 partisan Democrats aspiring to throw Pelosi some grist for the mill of impeachment.

Trump has been trolling Pelosi in order to tempt her to go ahead and try impeachment.

Pelosi has to know, even in her pre-senile dementia, that it didn't work out well when Repubs did that with Bill Clinton.

And yes, I thought back then that it was too far from a land deal in Arkansas (Whitewater) to DNA on a blue dress.

The special counsel stuff is almost always a bad idea.
