"A billionaire selling real estate lessons is quite different from Joe explaining how to stick his snout in the public trough for 50 years while fondling strangers."-johnflubs

I should think so, johnny. It is VERY different.

The billionaire had to pay $25 million while fondling strangers for the fraud perpetrated on the students of his fake 'University'.

Biden paid nothing for the education he provided. That's a $25 million difference.

But thanks for bringing this up, johnny. Everyone (especially Trump supporters) should be occasionally reminded of the frauds and sexual assaults Trump has been involved in his entire life.

johnforbes agrees with me that Trump being guilty of knowingly defrauding students at his 'University' scam is very different from Biden getting legitimately paid at a government job, regardless of what johnforbes thinks of the job.

Elkin, you follow the tax code.

So do I.

So did Trump.

Surely you realize that every billionaire, and every president, is subject to audit every year?

Now I personally never felt that any investor should take the risk of buying a casino in Atlantic City, but it did revive that town for a while.

The road to billionaire status is not smooth, and that is why Elkin will never become one.

If true, a good idea.

Democrats could look for conflict of interest, or anything relevant in his financial disclosures (which are exhaustive).

But Elkin doesn't know where to look, so he talks about tax returns.

Bonnie Tyler's song is relevant to Elkin: "A Total Eclipse of the Smart."

Financial disclosures are only a piece of the puzzle.

When you evaluate a business for investment, you get the annual report and quarterly SEC filings...right.

And in those filings the financials have three elements...right?

1. Cash Flow Statement
2. Balance Sheet Statement
3. Income Statement

Right?

Now Johnnie...by you telling everybody to solely focus on financial disclosures and to ignore the tax returns, would be equivalent to asking someone to focus on the Balance Sheet Statement and to ignore the Income Statement.

Now if you were to evaluate a business why would anybody ever want to ignore the income statement.

So what would Trump's tax returns shine some light on....

1. Business dealings that are currently unknown.
2. How much money he’s making from his companies while in office
3. How his tax policies are benefiting his own bottom line.
4. Are his businesses are actually turning profits.
5. And most importantly: Trump's his foreign dealings and his charitable giving. (Both of which are currently under investigation)

I didn't say ignore the tax returns, but you can only demand those for some reason.

In an ideal world, with no privacy concerns, I'd prefer to see the tax returns of every politician.

But we don't live in that world, and Democrats just had two years with Mueller's probe (staffed entirely by liberal Democrats) and found nothing.

"found nothing"

Really Johnnie?

Do you really think Barr went through Mueller's 400 page report in less than 2 days and came up with some objective 4 page summary.

If you believe that...then I have 5 bankrupted casinos to sell you.
#115284
Johnnie...stop being so dishonest.

Barr was hired as AG because he submitted an unsolicited legal opinion to the congress stating that it was his opinion that a sitting president cannot be indicted.

Then Barr writes a 4 page "summary" of the Mueller report which leaves even more questions than answers.

So now some 80 - 90% of the public want the report to be released because they pretty much don't trust what Barr has written.

Elkin, stop being so dishonest.

JFK hired RFK as Attorney General because he felt he could trust his younger brother.

Obama hired minorities Holder and Lynch because he felt he could trust them to protect Dems and race-bait.

Hopefully, Trump hired an AG he felt he could trust. After the Sessions disaster, let's hope so.

Johnnie...If you believe that bullshit then I have 5 bankrupted casinos to sell you.

First Trump claimed that he supported the full release of the Mueller report. Now Trump claims that it's a disgrace that democrats have to subpoena the report to see it.

Trump is not even trying to hide his corruption any longer.........

It is simply a fact that JFK hired his younger brother, an inexperienced lawyer at best, and made him AG because he wanted somebody he knew and trusted..

Obama hired minorities Holder and Lynch because he felt he could trust them to protect Dems and race-bait.

After the Sessions disaster, let's hope so.
