There needs to be just a bit of reading between the lines here but make no mistake, what James Clapper is doing here is sending out a warning flare that if he’s going down there will be a lot of others he intends to take with him—including a certain former President of the United States. (Really pay attention to how much he emphasizes Obama’s personal involvement in the process from beginning to end.)

EXACTLY! He's also sending a message that if he's allowed to avoid prison, he'll tell all. It's always the first one's that flip that get off easy and Clapper is a flipper.

I told everyone, Trump's people held Trump in shackles until the Mueller investigation was over so as not to give the Democrats any ammo. Now that Mueller cleared him of any crimes, they've taken Trump's shackles off and he is going to make heads roll. Clapper is just smart enough to know that.

The most typical Banana Republic nightmare is when the prosecutor goes after the enemies of the dictator, and the police and "justice" people are not neutral but biased.

Sadly, it would seem that Clapper and Brennan were partisan and biased, and we already knew that top law enforcement and "justice" people protected Hillary (who violated 18 USC 793) and used a fake dossier to wiretap Trump.

No prosecutor exonerates a person. The person is either charged or not.

Whether the special counsel is Ken Starr or Mueller, that is what they should do -- not cobble together some report which politicians seek to spin for partisan gain.

So no, of course Mueller did not "exonerate" anybody. He had an exhaustive investigation and found nothing to charge anybody for with Russia collusion.

But Hillary did collude with Russia in several ways, and Mueller didn't care because his mandate was to try to hamstring the first two years of Trump's presidency.
