The DOJ IG announced they will conducting a review of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court judges who approved FISA warrants during the Trump investigation. Of concern, those judges are supposed to serve as one of the few checks and balances to prevent the FBI from wiretapping innocent Americans. The inquiry will try to determine whether out of blind trust in the FBI, or out of ignorance or even malfeasance, they approved warrants that is now known, to have largely been based upon false, and unproven opposition research paid for by Democrats and the Hillary Clinton. They are also trying to determine if those judges were made aware that other judges had previously denied the warrants, some on the same they were approached.
