The American people have the right to know if...
Elk checked the box of the Presidential Election Campaign fund
thus contributing money not only to the DNC but also to President Trump's campaign ..

I suspect he did.

Also, it seems clear that Elkin is hiding something because he has urged others to reveal their tax returns.

I think they should be private, but Elkin disagrees.

So let's see his.

johnforbes is being purposely obtuse. He knows perfectly well that elklindo hasn't "urged others to reveal their tax returns." johnforbes simply made that up.

What he "urged" is that Trump (that's one person, not "others") release HIS tax returns exactly as all Presidents have done for decades.

Yes, tax returns should be private---unless you are the leader of the United States with staggering power to abuse.
In Trump's case, he owes millions of dollars to foreign entities, he is under the thumb of foreign creditors which could cause our President to make decisions in his own interest instead of the interests of the American people. There is no such thing as a rule that applies 100% of the time to everyone. The President is an exception to many rules that apply to regular people like elklindo and johnforbes.

Just because johnforbes chooses to blindly put his life into the hands of a person with unknown motivations, that is no reason the rest of us should naively choose that same willful ignorance.

johnny, it is one thing to be purposely obtuse with the facts.

It is another thing entirely to simply lie about someone in order to be obtuse. Then it's just lying, not satire.

I know as well as you that your mother taught you not to take pleasure in lying about people.

I do agree that Elkin's tax returns are in a cabinet at home, and that they belong there.

However, Elkin has demanded the tax returns of others who have no reason to disclose them.

Therefore, Clown's post points the way to this burning query:

Why hasn't Elkin disclosed his tax returns to us?
