Fast forward to 2020, and let's assume Trump finally got intel officials and "justice" officials who were either neutral or favored him.
Would it be okay for Trump to pay 12 million for a fake dossier on his opponent?
Would It be okay for this fake dossier to be used to abuse FISA and obtain a wiretap on his opponent's campaign?
Would it be okay for his top intel officials to prance about TV talk shows proclaiming how awful Trump's opponent was, and speculate that national security would be at risk if the opponent got elected?
Hint: No, such corruption would NOT be acceptable.
