This trip was supposedly to showcase his foreign policy credentials (and from a political tactic point of view provide him cover for the tax issue and Bain that he was facing here) as a presidential candidate.

It was also a perfect strategy for him to outshine than Obama by going to the olympics because americans watching would be reminded by his involvement in running the Utah Winter Olympics. You see...these republicans are not stupid. Everything is calculated and every move has an angle how it would benefit them.

But ordinary working americans may not know that the Romney's has a horse that would debut in the London Olympics. Wow...if romney becomes president he would be the first american president who has a horse competing in the Olympics (which proves how filthy rich he is and sometimes its not good because he may be out of touch with the 99 percent), he would also be the first american president to have swiss bank accounts and bank accounts in the cayman islands, also the first american president who is mormon (i would rather believe in Jesus Christ than their prophet who allowed polygamy and racism), first american president who is a private equity investor and there might be more...
