Amanda Clinton, the spokes person of the Cherokee Nation explained that the Cherokee Nation heritage runs deep, but Warren simply used "stories" of her ancestry to get publicity, sympathy and, possibly, her teaching job at Harvard University. She told a lie that her parents had to elope because her father's parent disapproved of their son marrying a Cherokee. This was debunked when one of her brothers produced wedding pictures with both parents in the photos. Instead of ceasing her lies, she continues to misappropriate our Cherokee heritage. Her latest farce is a DNA test that proves she has less Native American ancestry in her than the average white American, but yet she takes out a television ad pretending it proves she Native American. We are calling on the Senator to stop this mockery and apologize to Native Americans.
