They're removing thousands of seats to make the stadiums look fuller.
The announced attendance of 57,013 was the lowest for a Redskins home opener in the 21-year history of FedEx Field — down more than 21,000 from the 78,658 who attended the Redskins’ 2017 home opener against the NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles.

It also broke what the Redskins have claimed is a 50-year streak of home-game sellouts.

Swaths of empty seats attested to the story, along with the large section of 300-level end zone seats that was covered with advertising signage and, at the opposite end zone, the removal of seats to create an open-air plaza for fans to mingle, order drinks and keep tabs on other NFL games via 30 HD TV screens.

This same issues plagues other NFL teams this year and their marketing people have come up with a solution. To convey the impression of demand, the teams are removing thousands of seats, the vast majority in the upper decks.

At this point, they may change the name from Redskins to Kneelers...
People who sunburn should find the Redskins' name offensive. NFL owners are going to bleed money this year as are the vendors. Thank you Nike for helping to stick the fork in right at the best moment, days before the kickoff games.

Not to worry, Tool, you brown skinned people don't burn so easily. That's why you are so good out in the fields, right, johnny?

Now, imagine how loudly you would be cheering the demise of professional football if you were in Texas.

Bahk, bahk, bahk...

Vontae Davis of the Buffalo Bills calls it quits...

In a puzzling and highly unusual move, cornerback Vontae Davis, a former first-round pick and two-time Pro Bowler, “pulled himself out of the game,” according to Coach Sean McDermott.
“He communicated to us that he was done,” McDermott said, adding that Davis, who had made one tackle, was not injured.
As it turned out, Davis did more than just skip out on the second half. He retired from the N.F.L. altogether.

"After playing all but 13 games in his first eight seasons, Davis missed 11 last year because of a lingering groin injury. He had at least three concussions in his N.F.L. career, along with a broken wrist and hamstring and knee and foot sprains. Davis was healthy but inactive in Week 1 — a 47-3 loss to the Baltimore Ravens."

Now why would anyone walk away from such a fun game?

THIS is what should eliminate football from America; people coming to their senses. He was willing to walk away from $5 million this year. That indicates he's serious about how bad the game is.

All you dimwitted CTE fans can now jump on my case.
