WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Donald Trump has directed the FBI to immediately declassify all information related to the investigation into possible election meddling by Russia, the White House said on Monday.

He has also directed the Justice Department to publicly release text messages relating to the Russia investigation without redaction from former FBI Director James Comey, former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, as well as other former and current Justice Department officials, including recently fired FBI agent Peter Strzok who has come under fire for sending texts disparaging Trump as a presidential candidate.

Top Democrats are melting down that Trump would declassify all information that led up to the Russia investigation including all emails. All of a sudden, the demands that the public know what "really" happened is, no longer important.

The top Democrat on the House intelligence committee criticized Trump's move. "President Trump, in a clear abuse of power, has decided to intervene in a pending law enforcement investigation by ordering the selective release of materials he believes are helpful to his defense team and thinks will advance a false narrative," Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., said in a statement that there are grave concerns about the possibility that intelligence sources and methods could be compromised by the release ordered by Trump and promised action would be taken to stop the declassification.

"Criticizing" a political opponent is not "Melting down". It's what Republicans do every day.

"Said in a statement" is not melting down either. It's what Republicans do every day.

And being concerned about compromising intelligence sources is not melting down either. Republicans pretend to be concerned about that same thing every day as well.

So again, post the part where any top Democrat is melting down. I mean, melting down more that Republicans are doing every day.
