Newest editorial board member tweeted about "dumbass fucking white people." If a person changed that "white" reference to another race, how swiftly would he be fired?

"On Wednesday, The New York Times announced that it had hired Sarah Jeong as the lead technology writer for its editorial board, saying she “has guided readers through the digital world with verve and erudition, staying ahead of every turn on the vast beat that is the internet.”

There was soon an outcry on right-wing websites over tweets Ms. Jeong wrote from 2013 to early 2015, which referred to white people with terms like “groveling goblins” and “dogs.”

On Thursday, The Times released a statement saying that it knew about the tweets before hiring Ms. Jeong, 30, and that she would stay on the editorial board.

“Her journalism and the fact that she is a young Asian woman have made her a subject of frequent online harassment,” The Times said in its statement. “For a period of time she responded to that harassment by imitating the rhetoric of her harassers. She sees now that this approach only served to feed the vitriol that we too often see on social media.”

Jeong has sent more than 103,000 tweets with thousands directed at white people. Among her tweets are filled with a host of messages that are racist and offensive. Jeong compared “dumbass f-----g white people” to dogs, said that “old white men” were “lemmings,” opined that white people would “go extinct soon,” and used the hashtag #CancelWhitePeople. “Are white people genetically predisposed to burn faster in the sun, thus logically being only fit to live underground like groveling goblins,” “whiteness” resulted in being “awful.” "Oh man it's kind of sick how much joy I get out of being cruel to old white men,” This planet would be better off if the white scum were to disappear, we can only hope the day will come"

The Times on Wednesday issued a glowing press release announcing that Jeong would join the editorial board, touting her as “staying ahead of every turn on the vast beat.” The South Korean-born Jeong, who previously worked at The Verge, was hired as the lead technology writer for the paper and a lead editor.

There you have it folks, the Times is no longer trying to hide their agenda against white people and conservatives, they've declared war and will be advocating ##CancelWhitePeopleFromEarth.

A search for “cops” and “police” on Jeong’s Twitter reveals an extensive history of anti-cop sentiment and a lack of sympathy for police who are injured on the job.

“let me know when a cop gets killed by a rock or molotov cocktail or a stray shard of glass from a precious precious window. Cops are assholes,”

“If we’re talking big sweeping bans on shit that kills people, why don’t we ever ever ever ever talk about banning the police?”

She also tweeted “fuck the police” on several occasions, including one with a gif of animal characters actually physically attacking a police officer.

In addition, Jeong repeatedly tweeted about killing white men.

White women were not spared from Jeong’s rage — during the 2016 election she eloquently tweeted “fuck white women"

The New York Times said on Thursday that they had reviewed Jeong’s tweets prior to hiring her, but did not them threatening or racist.
