Key GOP senators rip Trump's farm bailout: 'America’s farmers don’t want to be paid to lose

Republican senators condemned the Trump administration's recently announced plans to bail out U.S. farmers hit by crippling tariffs on their goods.

“This trade war is cutting the legs out from under farmers and White House’s ‘plan’ is to spend $12 billion on gold crutches," said Nebraska Sen. Ben Sasse

Tennessee Sen. Bob Corker called on the Trump administration to "reverse course and end this incoherent" tariff policy in a statement, and described the aid proposal as "offering welfare to farmers to solve a problem they themselves created."

Well Trump is a double fail because he failed once when he fucked over the farmers with the tariffs and failed again when he forced taxpayers to bail out the farmers.

99% of farmers will vote for Trump. 100% of Republicans realize producing enough food to feed our families is vital, and we only spend .01% on insuring the food is produced than we do public education. We all know where the cuts should be made.
