Snakeoil, unless you are young and naive, you will recognize that powerful people (billionaires and politicians, etc.) do tend to attract people.

Some of them are good, some bad, many in between.

The Guardian has a very pronounced Left Wing slant, and if you read sources like that naturally you'll begin to see the world in that light unless you have a good education and plenty of experience of your own.
