Just a few years ago, Dems said Russia was NOT an enemy of the US.

Hillary had a red reset button to cozy up to Russia.

She helped sell uranium to Russia, and the Clinton Foundation received funds and Bill hugely raised his speaking fees there.

Yet today, in modern McCarthyism, Dems are frantic to claim Trump said something wrong in Helsinki.

He didn't.

johnny, even Trump admitted he did something wrong in Helsinki.

If Trump (the guy who never admits he was wrong) can admit he did something wrong in Helsinki, why can't johnforbes finally get it through his thick skull that Trump did something wrong in Helsinki?

Grow up.

Everybody knows that big nations try to disrupt the affairs of others.

Obama tried to interfere with the elections in Israel, and he tried but failed to stop Brexit.

Of course, Russia seeks constantly to disrupt. Even a child would know that.

But Obama scoffed in October 2016 at the idea that Russia could affect the election, and Rice called off scrutiny of the process.

This is one of those rare times when Obama was correct.

As to Dems now viewing intel agency opinions as sacrosanct, that is hilarious.

The CIA and FBI warned Obama Russia was trying to be disruptive in the 2016 elections and asked for authority to act up on it, Obama through Lynch killed their investigations and told them not to discuss it further. They were convinced Hillary would win and didn't want the election results questioned. If was our DOJ and Obama who enabled the Russians in 2016 and turned a blind eye to their actions. Only after Trump won, did they revive the investigations.

Exactly.
You know if Obama had pursued it more strongly and Hillary won, Trump (and you) would still be insisting the fix was in by Obama and claim the election was invalid.

What's my point? The Obama Administration knew of Russia's actions but not only did nothing, but told the FBI and CIA to stand down. Where is the Special Counsel investigating Obama's collusion and enabling Russia?

Why are they stalling and stonewalling on releasing records to House oversight personnel? Because they hope Dems will win back the House in Nov and cut off the investigation.

Although they consistently claimed it was national security, it has always turned out to be merely CYA for the massive scandals of:

1) Protecting Hillary with a fake investigation where they exonerated her before 17 witnesses were even interviewed.

2) Using a totally fake dossier, which Brennan et al. had to know was paid for by Hillary, to abuse the FISA process and get a judge Strzok knew to approve the wiretapping of Trump.
