I'm watching his speech and he called Ryan the next President of the United States..
Ryan was lobbied by Bill Kristol to the Romney team. Kristol, a hardcore and influential conservative intellectual was also the one who lobbied to have Sarah Palin picked as VP of McCain.
We all know now who Sarah Palin is....
Ryan is a strategic approach by Romney to bait the hardcore conservative/tea party members to be behind him. As of yesterday, there are still many of these branch of conservatives who don't like Romney as their choice.
In fact, there's a group called Dump Romney who plan to not vote for Romney as their nominee during their convention. This group is made up of supporters of Santorum, Bachmman, Perry and Gingrich. They sent out letters 20,000 people in politics, media and republican delegates letting their agenda know openly.
Romney is suppose to be fighting Obama by now. Not putting out fires in his own backyard.
The tea party would be surprise later when they will find out that they have just been used and manipulated by Romney. At the same time he announced Ryan as his VP, his team came out with the press release that they are not committed to implement the Ryan budget and Romney quickly distanced himself with it...hahaha....don't think many people know about that because the media is more focus on the selection of Ryan.
Romney will do anything to win...The tea party is right. Romney is not really a conservative.
