Political discussions about everything

Many Democrats are giving in and no longer resisting Trump's agenda. Not because they agree with him but because, they've done and gave everything they've been asked by the Democrats but yet Trump has only grown stronger and more liked. It wasn't suppose to be that way, they were told go out on the streets, yell, scream and attack police (oh and give every penny they can afford) for the cause and Trump would be gone within a month. After doing as they're been ordered to do for 16 months, they're no longer listening to the chants.

It has become alarmingly clear that Barry and Hillary used every tool, from the IRS targeting to lies about Benghazi from the State Dept to the astounding lie Clapper told that millions of Americans were not subject to routine info collecting, for political purposes.

In a mindboggling plot, partisan officials such as Strzok and Page and McCabe and Comey and Ohr and perhaps Brennan as well took a fake dossier (they surely knew Hillary paid 12 million for it) to a FISA judge appointed by Obama.

That fake dossier was the main -- or sole? -- reason for the warrant to wiretap Trump. Despite the initial denials from CNN and NBC et al., it is now known that Trump was indeed wiretapped at the Tower, learned about it, and moved his transition HQ to NJ on Nov 18, 2016.

There are now stories that the FBI may have planted a spy in the Trump campaign. If so, the only goal was probably to defeat one candidate (Trump) while protecting another (Hillary) with a completely fake investigation of her private server which was clearly violative of 18 USC.

"He also doesn’t recall several emails and phone calls leading up to the meeting or even that a Russian-American lobbyist, Rinat Akhmetshin, attended.
That’s despite another attendee recalling that Akhmetshin was dressed in hot pink jeans and a hot pink shirt that day."

It's understandable that Trump Jr. wouldn't remember Akhmetshin being there.

From the flaming sartorial description, it was likely johnforbes who was there that day.

The Senate, the body that will try Trump’s impeachment trial, has admitted that Russia worked to get Trump elected. They also admitted today the Russians funneled money to Trump through the NRA.
No they didn't, they said the "can't rule" out the Russia tried to influence the election but they "found nothing" to indicate Trump was in collusion with them. Mueller's investigation will end the same.

Trump just keeps on winning!

Isn't it true that the Russian lady lawyer had a link to Fusion GPS, the firm used to concoct the fake dossier?

The silly little meeting with the Russian lawyer, which had nothing to do with politics beyond adoption procedures in Russia, is really all Democrats have to hang their hat on.

Pathetic.

johnny, if you think that meeting was about adoptions (beyond being a peripheral topic to get rid of sanctions) then you really are naive.

At the very least, all those people who knew nothing about adoptions wouldn't need to be there if adoptions were the reason for the meeting. And the Don Jr. "I love it" email makes no sense in that context either. Anyone with any sense would understand Don Jr. doesn't "love" orphans enough to get excited about them.

Even a dimwit like you should understand all that.

Didn't Don Jr think the meeting was to get dirt on Hillary?

All campaigns do that, of course.

That is the reason Obama paid 3 million bucks for a fake dossier on Romney.

That is why Hillary paid 12 million for the fake dossier on Trump which Strzok and Page et al. used to abuse the FISA system to get a warrant (from a judge appointed by Obama) to wiretap Trump.

Why? To get dirt on him.

Don Jr was disappointed that the meeting was just about adoptions and so he tuned out and was checking his cell phone.

It is pathetic that desperate Dems are still trying to hang their hats on that little meeting.

johnforbes is too stupid or dishonest to understand that the Red Scare of the McCarthy era wasn't about Russians, but about COMMUNISTS.

There weren't any Russians in the U.S. to be concerned about in the 1950s.

There were good American citizens who sometimes had political views that weren't the same as McCarthy or johnforbes.

Instead, johnforbes does his usual dishonest schtick of mischaracterizing the phony issues of the past in an attempt to ridicule the quite real issues of today.
He does this in an attempt to whitewash the very real charges and indictments leveled at his contemporary version of the Presidential plumbers and dirty tricks squad a la Nixon.

But of course johnforbes has no problem with dirty tricks and cover ups. Indeed, he is nostalgic for the days of his misspent youth, because once again the assault on American values and laws is perpetrated by his own corrupt party.

Who says you can never go back, eh, johnny?

johnforbes wrote:I have sympathy for Elkin.

He is too young to remember the Red Scare of the 1950s, when Democrats mocked those who saw Russians under every bed.

Today, Elkin checks under his bed for Russians all the time.

So weird, his paranoia is.

But funny.

Trump Russia investigation: 1 year/19 indictments
And not one single person fined or sent to jail! You can indict a ham sandwich but convicting that sandwich is a completely different matter. A police officer can write you a ticket for going 10,000 miles an hour is a 25 zone, but that doesn't mean the person will can be found guilty of going 10,000 miles and hour in the 25 zone. Mueller's investigation is all fluff, he's tossing out fluff because his supporters need it.

The Flynn case is going nowhere because even the agent who interviewed him (Strzok?) felt he did NOT lie to the FBI.

As to Manafort, Mueller's FBI cooperated with that Russian oligarch Deripaska and even liberals realize that Mueller has a very serious ethical conflict in that regard given the same person's involvement re Manafort.

When all is said and done, appellate lawyers will have more money and Flynn and Manafort will be making money on speech material related to prosecutorial misconduct.
