EL PASO, Texas - University Medical Center has announced a memorial for the Parkland Middle School student struck and killed Friday.

Police say 11-year-old Jonathan Benko was taking part in Parkland Middle School's organized walkout his group crossed Loop 375 then attempted to cross it again. Benko was the last in the group to cross and was struck by a Ford F150. Benko sustained serious injuries and was taken to UMC where he died.

The school contributed to that child's death as part of their organized protest movements using these children as tools. The school and the organizers need to be held responsible. Children go to school for an education, not to be used to protest outside of the school rooms.

The school is responsible.....this was an 11 year old kid..just learning to wipe his ass...what

The teacher led him out of the class and participated in the protest with the students. Imagine sending your 11 year old to school only to learn he's ran over in the street after being led out to a protest by teachers.
