NBC taken to task for awkward segue
The hits just keep coming for NBC.
Taken to task for their tape delay, talking over the opening ceremonies and a garden variety of other missteps so far during their broadcast of the 2012 Olympics, they now have to deal with this: After Bob Costas paid tribute to Gabby Douglas's gold-medal glory, saying, "But there's some young African-American girls out there who tonight are saying to themselves, 'I’d like to try that too,'" they immediately went to an ad featuring a monkey doing gymnastics.

ome people went to Chick-Fil-A to support their freedom speech, but some decided to go and harass innocent employees who may or may not even share the same opinion as the head of the company. As Glenn said this morning, a successful company hires people of different backgrounds and philosophies. They don’t work like a hive-mind, all marching to the same drum.

On a day that some gay-rights activists are planning a "National Same-Sex Kiss Day," a Chick-fil-A in Torrance was vandalized overnight with hateful graffiti.
Chick-fil-A employees were greeted Fridays morning with the words "Tastes like hate" scrawled in large black lettering mimicking the chain's advertising across the back wall of the restaurant at 182nd Street and Hawthorne Boulevard in Torrance.
