Delta’s $50 million tax break won't take flight after Georgia Senate blocks it.

The Georgia Senate blocked a lucrative tax break bill on Monday that would benefit Delta Air Lines after the Atlanta-based company severed ties with the National Rifle Association. Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle said he would not support tax legislation that helped the airline “unless the company changes its position and fully reinstates its relationship with the NRA. Delta has a relationship with over 200 organizations but singled out the NRA to punish them to appease liberals.” He echoed a growing number of conservatives who opposed the measure over the weekend.
Over half of the United States citizens own weapons, Delta just pulled an NFL moment they'll regret. If you have Delta stock, dump it ASAP.

Wow, RealTool posts evidence that the government of Georgia is controlled by the NRA, a private organization, and he thinks that's a good thing. Its Senators are mere lap dogs for the NRA.

This is what has become of the Right in modern America. They come right out and freely admit they want private groups with money controlling our lives.
And now they are actually saying corporate tax breaks are bad.

Delta isn't "discriminating" against the NRA, dummy.

It's simply cutting ties to a political organization, which anyone has the right to do, for political reasons or no reason at all, just because they want to. But political reasons will always be at the top of the list, since political reasons is what got them involved with a political organization in the first place.

Yes, that's a good thing, and the NRA running Georgia instead of being run by the voters is a bad thing.
What is it with conservatives that they hate capitalist corporations and the will of the voters so much?
It's exactly opposite to their professed values.

So you think the NRA is a political organization???   Delta is going to pay big time for entering into politics and pissing off 200 million Americans to appease libtards.

So you DON'T think the NRA is a political organization???

As always, giving humor lessons to johnforbes--- good one, Tool.

Unfortunately, nothing is going to happen to Delta. They will be providing the same terrible seating and service they have offered for years.

Like I said, nothing will happen to Delta, and your post proves it.
Did you miss the part about Georgia removing Delta's $50 million tax exempt status? Plus Delta just told 200 million gun owners that libtards' feelings mean more to them than doing business with those 200 million people. Watch for the NRA to sue their asses off and Delta reversing their decision, but the damage has been done. Within six months Delta will be feeling the pinch just as the NFL did. Pass the popcorn.
