The difference is, unvaccinated people contract COVID at a far greater rate, become hospitalized at a far greater rate, and die at a far greater rate. This is essentially a pandemic of the unvaccinated at this point. Anyone who, given the opportunity to be vaccinated, still refuses to get vaccinated is a fool.

But as far as the meaning of the video, it also didn't say that you couldn't catch COVID if you were vaccinated. It said that you could come out of isolation, which is true. Then it specifically, literally said to keep washing your hands, keep distance, and KEEP WEARING MASKS. Nowhere did anyone say vaccines would allow you to go without masks as johnforbes is pretending.

The cartoon also showed this 'popping of bubbles' happened when 88% of people get vaccinated, which hasn't yet happened. (Note the apartment building with bubbles popping. Eight of the nine apartments got vaccinated. Most epidemiologists estimated that we would need more than 70% fully vaccinated to be relatively 'safe.' Currently we are at about 66% fully vaccinated. Unfortunately, thanks to idiotic Trump supporters who have militantly politicized a medical issue, we will probably never achieve that level of herd protection. And johnforbes is helping promote this stupidity by persisting in telling these clowns that it's a political issue and a matter of opinion whether you need to get vaccinated. The resulting deaths from this idiotic position are on johnforbes' hands.

The bottom line is that johnforbes made it up and he provided the evidence to prove he lied. He couldn't produce evidence of a single person in authority saying you couldn't catch COVID if you were fully vaccinated. This is a dishonest partisan characterization of an expected and not-at-all-alarming occurrence of 15% of hospitalizations being vaccinated people and the other 85% were the unvaccinated, which was the real alarming number because there was no longer a reason for still being unvaccinated.

The vaccines were never claimed to be more than 95% efficacy (which is GREAT by vaccine standards) The J&J was in the realm of 86% efficacy, which is still good, but leaves a lot of people vulnerable, though not nearly as many vulnerable as being a Repubican does. This fact alone should tell liar johnforbes that no one was "alarmed" that some fully vaccinated people contracted COVID--just as the scientific studies had told us they would.
