Thousands of Bahamians affected by Hurricane Dorian have reverted to looting out of desperation. Aid workers have been attacked and their belongings taken, resulting in disruption of aid deliveries. Many victims feel stranded and are angry at the slow pace of disaster relief.Happens every time in those type of neighborhoods. Same thing happens in our inner cities, you have thugs that start preying on the weak within hours when something happens where police can't responds.
"It's going to get crazy soon," said Serge Simon a truck driver waiting with his wife and two sons under 4. “There's no food, no water. There are bodies in the water. People are going to start getting sick and have started fighting for survival."
Prime Minister Hubert Minnis begged for everyone to be “patient” and promised more protections for aid workers.
