If you thought it was based upon how much the children learned or percentage of those who graduate...you're wrong, it's not even considered. The number one factors are;

1- How much money the school receives per student
2- Teacher to student ratio (the more teachers per student the better)
3- Teacher salaries (the higher the better)

That's what happens when you have former teachers running the public school system...it's all about them and not the children or educating.

I agree, clown, it's hard to believe how public schools rate themselves, but it's true. You probably thought it was about how many smart kids they turn out...but's that private school's rating system.

The day of the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting by Nikolas Cruz...
Sean Hannity interviewed School Supt. Robert Runcie...

First thing Hannity asked Runcie.."were there any signs this was a troubled kid... ?

Runcie said' NO..! It was a complete surprise..!
Runcie admiited he heard the news of the shooting while leaving another school
where he had just awarded a brand new car to a teacher who had just been named 'Teacher of the Year"

Runice lied to Hannity...we now know Cruz had a history of trouble.. You know the rest..! :o :o

Just learned today the public school system in my area is asking for a third school multi million dollar levy this year, this one to fund the "special needs students" which they claim has increased 27% this year alone. They claim that special needs students cost on average 60% more to provided the needed education than non special needs students.

During an open meeting to discuss the need for the levy it was asked what qualifies as a special needs student. The spokeswoman for the levy explain, it could mental or physical disabilities that require extra assets and time. The spokesperson was asked if non English speaking students are classified as special needs students. The spokeswomen tried to change the subject to claiming that we owe ALL students the best education our system can provide but didn't answer the question. Several in the crowd spoke up said please answer her question. She admitted non English speaking students are classified as special needs students. When asked if it was non English Speaking students that accounts for the 27% increase in special needs students, she ended the meeting saying she was out of time.
